The pizza came cold, but that's not the complaint…read more
I drove 275 miles yesterday, taking my father who has Alzheimers, Dementia and Parkinsons Disease on his last trip before his life ends. My mother and me have been caring for him by ourselves. Only others who've had a family member with any of these 3 diseases will understand what hell on earth these disease' are for the families who care for them.
Tuesday night around 10:30 after driving approx. 5 hours we ordered a pizza from a rental property at 9 W 5th. We waited for quite some time. We called back and we were informed the delivery guy tried for the past 10-20 mins and knocked and nobody came, but we were all at the door in the living quarters and never heard anything. He tried calling us back and i walked around the block huffing (dyspnea from CHF & Supraventricular and Sinus Tachycardia) until i seen the driver. He wasn't happy to say the least, but i kept telling him the the back of the building where we stay says 9 W 5th on the door. I almost walked away without the pizza several times, because i got a "stern" lecture about how i need to learn addresses. I paid with a tip and as i was walking away he was literally yelling about what a fool i am and don't order from Dominos ever again and yes as i continued walking away i said fu. Then the delivery guy screamed so loud i guarantee anyone outdoors within 3 blocks could hear him and he screeched "RIGHT HERE YOU GD MF, FIGHT ME YOU GD COWARD!" Here i have heart failure, traumatic brain injury, 17 Bulged & 2 Herniated Disc, and i told the guy i have severe PTSD and he screamed "I DON'T GIVE A F, YOU GD MF COWARD. FIGHT ME NOW RIGHT HERE YOU SB!" I replied "are you kidding, all this over a pizza?"
It's safe to say i am in no shape to fight anyone. Those days passed me 15 years ago. This guy was off his rocker and jumping up and down swinging his arms and had law enforcement been a couple blocks away and heard it, the driver would likely be arrested for disturbing the peace and menacing, at the very least. I've employeed many people during my life and i've also been employeed, but in any scenario if an employee challenged a customer to a fight in the middle of the roadway, under any circumstance they'd been fired on the spot.
We called right after to talk to the manager about what happened and the guy that answered was the very delivery guy, i could tell his voice and he wanted to know what we wanted, but never said if he was the manager or what. It did no good. I went home and broke down in tears, because i'm going through a lot and have a mountain on my shoulders right now. I thought i was gonna have a heart attack and should go to the ER. I got on my knees and asked God for forgiveness for saying the F word, but i prayed for the delivery driver, because i'm sure maybe what he's also experienced in his life made him react that way. I hope that God blesses him in life. Nonetheless, the guy isn't made to interact with the public behaving like that and i'm sure Dominos doesn't want that representing their brand. I may be in the wrong on the address itself, i'm not from this area, but i wanted to disclose the address that is on the rental property which is directly behind where the driver was. I wanted to show this because i'm only going by what the rental has on it and it's also on the vrbo listing.
I won't stop here, because Corporate needs to know this. I have 100K followers on social media, many who live in Missouri, that need to know if they order from Dominos in Fulton to be aware of this guy, who's a loose cannon and he'll eventually run into some one who'll have his number. I'm gonna see if i can get any security camera footage from the area to upload on Youtube, Facebook, and X. This has to be addressed.
This is a pic of the rental door that apparently doesn't exist or is the figment of my imagination?
