Been wanting to try Southside Mafia Pizza. Discovered by Door Dash browsing months ago. When I…read morefinally checked Yelp, was intrigued by the reviews. Liked the menu, especially the well priced options to add toppings. All pizza places have such options, but liked Southside's menu structure & organization. Ordered a large pepperoni pizza with different extra toppings on the two sides to try a variety of offerings. It arrived by Door Dash 45min later. It was still hot and the extra cheeses were melted. The crust was favorable with a nice chew. The pepperoni was evenly spread & was good tasting. Each of the added toppings were also good. Between the extra mozzarella & extra provolone cheeses, liked the provolone better. All in all, liked the pizza. After trying them couple more times, Southside may get up to 5 stars.

We were out and about on a road trip and found this gem on yelp. What a pleasant surprise to find a…read morelocally owned burger place that was easily accessible from the route we were on. What makes them stand out is the QUALITY ingredients and overall care that is taken in making delicious food. We ordered hot wings, burgers, onion rings and their buttery chocolate chip cookie for dessert. They use tallow to cook their foods which is such a wonderful benefit. We also enjoyed their kombucha. Next time I'm in the area I'm looking forward to try their pizzas! The owner and staff were very welcoming as well.

The unusually named Go To is located in a remodeled old gas station on the main drag in Louisburg…read moreKS. It's a very cute smallish spot in a city with a surprising number of decent restaurants - but every city could use one more, right? They have a few tables in the dining room with a fast-food style ordering counter, plus three more tables in a patio area that blends seamlessly into the parking lot. Unfortunately, the promise of this new establishment didn't quite live up to my expectations. I ordered the 1/2 lb Big Daddy Burger for lunch. The burger was shaped more or less like a meatball so while there was plenty of beef, it didn't come close to covering the bun so the proportions didn't seem to fit each other. They use homemade pickles which some people would probably really like, but I'm more of an old fashion Vlasic hamburger pickle kind of guy. On the plus side, you could definitely taste a distinct charcoal flavor in the meat, similar to what a burger at an Independence Day picnic should taste like. My curly fries were fine, but nothing more than what you would purchase in the frozen food section of the grocery store. My wife ordered the wings which are roasted, fried, and then thrown on the grill. It sounds like they went to extra trouble to make the wings, but they were on the small side (as many wings are these days - except for the giant wings at The Peanut locations in the KC area) and the taste wasn't noticeably different from the typical appetizer wings at your nearest sports bar. I've heard that pizza is really their thing and that is what we had hoped to order, if their pizza oven had not been on the fritz. They've only been open a short time, maybe a month or so, and this is the second time I'm aware of that their pizza oven has been non-functional. We plan to give them another chance on a future visit when they get their pizza oven up and running again. But until then, while the food was definitely OK, it's not a place I plan to rush back to.

We were finally driving by at a time that made sense to stop and eat, so we had our first meal here and it won't be the last. Friendly service. Good pizza. Good atmosphere. I was not expecting to order from the counter right when we walked in, but luckily we had already scoped out the menu. We ordered two pizzas and cheese curds. Hopefully the cheese curds are a permanent addition to the menu. They're delicious. And they have the good ranch dressing for dipping. We ordered the all meat pizza on cauliflower crust for the gluten-free diner, and we ordered bbq chicken on regular crust. I know the crust is kind of the main attraction here, but we all actually preferred the cauliflower crust over the regular crust. The regular crust has a nice chew, but we just really enjoyed the cauliflower. The bbq pizza is very sauce heavy and felt a little out of balance to me, but overall we all enjoyed our meal and the service and the break from driving. We will definitely be back. Oh, it's also super affordable whether you're here for pizza, drinks, or the buffet.
