We had such a great time that we returned the following night with four of us just before closing for pizza. Jonathan was our server both times, and he was fantastic--friendly, efficient, attentive, and just plain fun. He even accidentally spilled a glass of Prosecco on me during our first visit (luckily I was wearing black!), but he handled it with humor and professionalism. The fact that we happily came back the very next night says everything about the overall experience. On our second visit, we ordered the 13-inch Canadian NWO pizza (pepperoni, bacon, mushrooms, and mozzarella). As someone from the U.S., I'd never even heard of an "NWO" pizza! It was delicious, although the crust was just a little more done than I prefer. At around $26 CAD, it was a bit pricey, but we'd still order it again. The beer was good, though none of the ones we sampled really wowed us. Honestly, that hardly mattered because the atmosphere was so much fun. We loved both the patio and the indoor/outdoor seating, and the place had a lively, welcoming energy that made us want to stay awhile. We enjoyed it so much that we even bought a T-shirt before leaving. If you're in Kenora, don't miss this place. This dish was so rich and decadent - a heart attack on a plate - but delicious! The flavor of the sauteed creminis was enhanced by the creamy sauce, and the smoked bacon added a nice overall touch. Service was OK; I did takeout and it took much longer for the food to be ready than originally promised, but the wait was worth it.
