The office staff were incredibly quick, understanding, and kind in getting me scheduled as soon as possible. Dr. Patterson was knowledgeable, compassionate, and took the time to explain my situation and help me get the care I needed. He referred me to an amazing specialist who was able to remove the tooth and finally relieve the pain. I really appreciated Dr. Patterson's follow-up and continued care afterward. I ultimately had Dr. Patterson complete my crown, and I have had absolutely no issues since. From the office staff to the quality of care, I've been extremely happy with my experience. Had the pleasure of meet Dr. Patterson for a routine check up on Wednesday, finding his office was fairly easy because they had plenty of parking around the building and inside the building they have suite numbers and names of occupants shown clearly on the door signs. As soon as you open the door you get a warm welcome from Fay (the office is spotless and arranged very nicely) then you start filling out your paper work and within minutes your name gets called by his assistant Mary And takes you to the designated room and you can tell his office is equipped with digital software such as digital X-rays, dental chair is very comfortable and yet again not much waiting is done before Dr.Patterson walks into the room. He took a look into my mouth asked me couple of questions and charted things down and gave me my treatment plan, initially my visit was just for a possible cavity but he couldn't help but notice that I clench and my jaw would pop and make noises every time I opened my mouth so he did this neat trick to figure out where my bite went wrong and he took his time was VERY gentle and we found the culprit tooth! That I myself never really noticed! So he did something equivalent to magic and almost instantly I felt this pressure relief, to this day I still feel the drastic change in clenching my teeth, I feel like I no longer clench hard or as much as used to and I've been dealing with a bad jaw for years since I took my braces off over 9 years ago and I can't Believe all of those "educated TMJ specialist" I went to visit couldn't figure that part out!!! He did something so minor that it felt like this great amazing thing! I am very thankful that I took the time to give him a visit, best decision that I've ever made in my 27 years on this earth! Dr. Patterson is an excellent dentist and I would recommend him a thousand times over. My dad had significant dental issues and needed a highly skilled dentist. Dr. Patterson was recommended to me and though his office is far (coming from San Diego), I decided to make the drive and I'm very glad I did. Dr. Patterson is not only highly skilled, but also provides a high level of care and has a great deal of patience. He took time to speak with my dad and understand his issues and needs on every single visit. Though my dad's treatment required over 10 visits, it was well worth the time and drive from San Diego. Finding a highly skilled dentist who takes time to understand the patient, shows compassion and treats patients with a high level of respect is hard to find; but we found all that with Dr. Patterson. Also, his entire staff is amazing and treated my dad with so much respect and kindness (they even laughed at his jokes, even some that were not that funny!). We recently moved to the area, and I needed to find a dentist who knew LANAP. Though there were a couple other dentists closer by, I chose to travel a bit to see Dr. Patterson based on a couple things: 1) his emphasis on a conservative, minimally invasive approach to dentistry; 2) it being a small, single-dentist practice and not a huge dental "group." I'm glad I did. The office itself was easy enough to find and had plenty of parking. The environment was clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely welcoming, kind, and helpful. Dr. Patterson spent a good amount of time getting to know me, my dental situation, and goals before the new patient exam, and was very thorough and knowledgeable. His hygienist was similarly thorough and gentle during the scale and polish. His receptionist was totally helpful with insurance matters. The first appointment was a great experience.
