I reached out the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Center in Chicago for a consultation appointment and I couldn't even get in without having to pay for the office visit upfront which was $250. I understand having a co-pay but this is crazy. So I have good insurance that would cover this visit at 100%. How do I know? Because I contacted them prior to a possible appointment. I see specialists all the time and I've never encountered this issue. I asked why I had to pay $250 out of pocket and then try to get reimbursed by my insurance if it's already covered? Seems kind of shady. I was just told that they're specialists and are better trained in this field then others in the area. So...yeah, I don't believe that but what I do believe is that this is a racket and they're definitely putting their bottom line before the needs of patients who are in pain and need the services of a specialist. So my warning to all those looking to make an appointment with the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Center Chicago is that you better be flush with cash or you'll be out of luck, even if you have quality insurance.

The hygenists treat you with respect and clean your teeth without you feeling like they are cleaning your brains and do a very thorough job. Dr. Remijas is wonderful, a great dentist who cares about his patients and doesn't prescribe or diagnose dental issues that are not there. I am happy that I found such a wonderful dental office upon moving to Chicagoland. There are a lot of sketchy dentists out there trying to make money off of the naive patient, and Dr. Remijas is not one of them.

Not only is he warm and friendly, he's funny and great at making you smile. Which helps take the edge off of going to the dentist. They took down all my information when I made the appointment and could've checked that long before 8 minutes before my appointment. Then had the audacity to try to sell me on their garbage cleaning plan when I clearly have insurance. Dont bother to go here they're lost.
