He left to go buy a tile cutter and a bucket of thin set. Stated full day price was $1260. They left after 5 hrs and he asked for $1360 stating it was for the supplies! I paid it stupidly. A few days later Mike and the boy returned to finish tiling and grout. I guess he went from tool retriever to tiler/grouter. The grouting was a mess, my brand new quartz had 1/2" grout along the edge, lumps everywhere, thick lines overlapping the tile. Not up to cabinets. Did not finish and said they would be back, and they needed $630 for 1/2 day. I gave them $530 and told them to let Jason know I over paid $100 last time, as I shouldn't pay for his tile cutter that he should have brought to the job. They never returned to finish. I had another tiler come and tell me he's never seen such a terrible job and so overpriced! Beware!

As this is a rental property that I would be unable to constantly monitor, regular reports on the progress of the project would be essential. This company was highly recommended to me by local sources. From beginning to end, I could not have been more satisfied with the experience. The company owner Brian Jones was personally on the site and involved with his team on a daily basis. He provided me with a detailed report of all materials and labor at the end of each week, and also contacted me as any questions came up and not even the smallest deviation from the original contract was made without my understanding and approval. The work was completed on schedule, the cleanup was thorough and the results could not be more impressive.
