As of today the city of Milan has gone into panic mode. THe grocery stores are empty, the Duomo canceled our tickets and our trip to Lake Como was also refunded without a problem. ONE exception is this hotel. I have tried to speak to someone regarding our reservation which was booked on Expedia and we were told SORRY! We didn't want a refund but just a credit to book once this virus is better understood and controlled. Well everyone else understood the need to cancel but this hotel didn't see it this way. So we are out 567.00 USD. The virus is spreading like wildfire and it's unfortunate but worst off are establishments like this

The seating is comfortable and the decor is kinda fun. An old Cary Grant movie was playing in the background on a large screen. We were too tired to catch a cab, but I'm glad we didn't go search for a place to eat. We had some pizza here that is as good as any that we had in our trip that took us from the top of Italy to the lower part of the boot in Sicily. The salad that we ordered was exceptional in freshness and taste. We also had one of their panini sandwiches and it was also really good. A bonus to it all is that the hotel is located right next to the Milan Airport, so we were able to finish our wonderful trip to Italy by taking the free bus to our morning flight.

On top of that, our flight from the USA landed early morning and when I inquired about the possibility to do an early check-in, their employee Alessandro kindly accommodated our request- we arrived before 10 am and immediately we got the keys to our assigned room. First of all, location, location, location: the hotel is at walking distance from the center of Milan. It took us less than 3 minutes to go to La Scala and less than 10 to go to the Duomo. The rates were reasonable if compared with similar category hotels in the same area. The check in process was very smooth and the reception desk was courteous and helpful when we asked for some information. The room was spotless clean and spacious. The bathroom was spacious and with a very modern vibe. We loved their toiletries. Our room was facing a main street but we did not hear any traffic noise, so I would say that the hotel is well isolated from noise. The night before our departure we asked the front desk for a cab since we needed to leave at 6 am. Not only did the employees offer to book a cab for us- they also told us that they would have breakfast ready for us before we left- and note that breakfast is usually served at 7. This means that they went above and beyond to ensure that their guests would leave with a small meal. Our stay was so pleasant that we would definitely stay here again and I would gladly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in the heart of Milan.

The rooms are stunning, especially the gorgeous high vaulted ceiling. My parents frequent Milan, and I decided to third wheel them here for the first time and honestly, I'm so glad I did! I'm usually NOT a walking person I'm a "let's Uber or take a taxi" kind of girl but this hotel is genuinely in the middle of shopping heaven. So many amazing places are right outside your door, which makes exploring Milan effortless. Beautiful hotel, incredible service, gorgeous rooms, and an unbeatable location. I would absolutely stay here again.

The location is really good - 15 mins from Milan central station, a really nice park about 30 seconds down the road. And about a minute walk to the repubblica underground stop. If you walked from the hotel to the main city central this would take about 20 minutes give or take. Inside the hotel the decor is quite modern and clean. The staff were very friendly spoke good English and we're happy to help with any questions. We forgot to bring an adaptor from England and they simply had one to lend until we checked out which I thought was really handy. We were upgraded to a superior room and my goodness this was nice. It wasn't a huge room but you had all the luxuries you needed. Really quite impressive. We had breakfast included with our stay and this was really nice, it was mainly a continental breakfast with a help yourself type of deal. There were staff readily available if you wanted to have say, an omelette or scrambled eggs cooked fresh. The staff here in the morning were very personable and friendly. All in all if I ever stay in Milan again I will be looking at staying here again!
