I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I was expecting a more ran down older venue, however, it's set up quite well and the amenities are above par.

Saw Hozier last night, first time seeing a show at RV Inn Style Resorts Amphitheater. Getting in and getting out- complete nightmare. Traffic backs up all along the I-5 trying to get in- you inch along. Parking lots everywhere, but you are directed where to park. It's one way in, one way out. Show was great- seating in the 200s was fantastic. A margarita -$24 - pretty sure had no tequila, minimal at best- way overpriced. Now leaving- wow- just wow. We left during the last song to avoid crowds- took us 2 hours to get out- 2 hours!!! It was a nightmare. Likely the last show we will see here. We live in Washington state- we have the best of the best artists come throughout many venues- avoid this venue!!

Nice facility and staff are very nice and helpful. The one thing that takes the rating down is the inefficient entrance and concession lines. It would help a lot if they just opened a no bag line or had security direct people who didn't have bags to walk on through. There are far more positives. Seating options are excellent. The facility it very clean. The employees are great. The biggest surprise was the food. I had nachos that were better than many restaurants with fresh guacamole, sour cream, corn salsa. The burgers looked good. Not the typical area food.

1. We had to park in the back of the lot furthest from the venue and walk for 15 minutes past three huge, empty parking lots much closer to the theater. Who makes these decisions? I'm a disabled combat veteran, but I was not about to pay $50, the cheapest paid parking option. 2. I scoured their webpage checking for all restricted items and they state that ¨Illegal drugs/substances¨ are not allowed, so I brought my favorite pipe with a little herb, after all, we were there to see the DOOBIE Brothers. I wasn't breaking any rules or laws and didn't try to hide anything (cannabis is legal in Washington), but I was told I had to walk 15 minutes back to the car or throw it in the ¨contraband¨box. If legal cannabis is not allowed, JUST SAY SO ON YOUR WEBSITE morons! 3. The food and drink prices were absurd, $17 for a can of beer, $7 for water, and $28 for a small frozen margarita. We refused to waste our money and so did the majority in attendance from what I could see. If they would simply cut their prices by 50%, they would likely double their profits and make the event more enjoyable for customers. 4. The acoustics in the open venue covered by a metal roof were terrible. I couldn't recognize several of my favorite songs because of all of the background noise and the instruments overpowering the vocals. Very disappointing. 5. Fortunately, I paid just $14 for the event thanks to VetTix, so I can't complain too much, but I lost my favorite pipe and will never return to this venue. You can no longer bring in your own chairs, you have to reserve theirs and the price has gone up :( Prices on food was reasonable $10 for nachos $16 for a voltagio brothers burger. The bands are always great will continue to visit and arrive fashionably late to avoid traffic

Cyndi Lauper!

A group of my friends and I went to the Cyndi Lauper concert here. Cyndi put on a great show! We rented their lawn chairs and I was happy to see they were not the low ones that I was expecting. They were a cross height-wise between a low chair and a normal hight camping chair. They cost $15 which was an ok price, but felt, like a lot of places these days, between the parking lot different pricing for being close and fast in/out and chairs that they Nickle and dime you here. Lines are long for any drinks and food but if you go early enough you won't lose any concert time. They do have a nice drink garden to hang out in, as you can't bring alcohol back in to the concert area. You can bring in food in up to a gallon size zip lock bag, and this is nice to do! We had a charcuterie dinner. I highly recommend driving as a carpool to events here, we printed out the page that you put in the front window as you drive in and you'll be able to park in a fast in/out lot, without paying extra for. We parked in lot C and had no wait getting out of the lot. We were directed to the road that goes along with the highway for a little over a mile and then hit the highway. It was the quickest way out I've experienced here.

I decided to spring for the VIP lounge and the VIP parking since I wasn't too familiar with the venue and couldn't find any info on the lounge. The parking was nice, we got to drive past the line and park right by the entrance. Leaving was also super easy and got right out while passing all the other cars in line. For someone who hates lines, this was worth it! The VIP lounge was very vague on the description when going to purchase. The lounge is located outside of the arena area in an event tent. I was hoping it was facing the stage somehow but nope! The setup was actually pretty cute and lots of different seating options; comfy lounge chairs, a fire pit outside with seating around it, and tables better suited for those ordering food. They did have their own restrooms that are MUCH nicer than the regular venue ones and come with basic amenities such as mints, hairspray, tampons, etc.. There were food and beverages available, also nicer than the options outside of the tent. We had a delicious gin cocktail and hummus platter, both were great, though very over priced. The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive staff.

Event: Janelle Monáe Concert Pros: The event was amazing! The venue was amazing! Most of the venue was covered which was a huge plus! There was also lawn area for people who wanted to sit with chairs. The area outside of the concert venue was dope as well! There was a lot of space to socialize before actually entering the venue which was cool! Cons: N/A

Ask the Community - Cascades Amphitheater

During night concerts does this venue have food?

Yes

Are there hotels around the area?

There are a couple that are in Battleground and also a few near Salmon Creek Park & Ride. We've stayed the past two times at Sonesta Suites off I-205, by the Vancouver Mall, many things to do and lots of eats; people are fantastic at Sonesta.

How much does a beer cost?

Between $9-15, there is also wine. Be careful the lines can be reallllllllllllly long.

Can you take an uber for a concert? Is there a designated spot for pick up after the concert?

You can use Uber to and from the event. Expect to walk down to the Chevron Station to be picked up as the flow in and out of the venue is awful. Your driver should call you and give you instructions.

Hands down Best Reuben & French dip anywhere. Eggs Benedict…read morewas a great positive surprise. Very disappointed prime rib dinner was entirely luke warm. So... that's my food experience. Service is hit and miss, mostly miss. Every time I've been there they take a long time to actually come to the table. When they do, they're friendly enough. But they aren't great at checking back to see if you need anything. The entire time the cold prime rib dinner night, once the food was delivered, no one came back. Waitstaff ignores you unless you're a regular. But there's one guy there who is a better server than the rest. Every time - every single time - I've had to wave someone down to get the check. I typically go when it's less than half full, so service shouldn't be slow. Ambiance - like a tavern. Torn vinyl seats, doors are hard to open, could be really cool if they did some updates. But seriously - you won't find a better Reuben or French dip anywhere. That's why 4-stars.

I used to come to 99 Saloon & Grill pretty regularly, but each visit has been a little more…read moredisappointing than the last. Unfortunately, my most recent visit sealed the deal -- I won't be returning. When we arrived, there were only about 6 diners total, yet service was already stretched thin with just one waitress/bartender handling around 30 guests shortly after. Our food came out completely cold. We ordered nachos, and the chips were soft all the way through -- no crunch at all. I've honestly had warmer food from a Taco Bell drive-thru after a 10-minute drive. Service was just as frustrating. My drink sat empty before our food even arrived, and I didn't receive a refill until after I had already finished eating. To top it off, several menu items and toppings were unavailable. I had to change my original order because they were "out" of multiple things, including most of the nacho toppings. After we left, my husband said he wanted chicken nuggets and ice cream from McDonald's -- which pretty much sums up how unsatisfied we were. Update: We ended up going to McDonald's, and the chicken nuggets tasted better than the meals we had at 99 Saloon & Grill. They were also significantly hotter -- even after a 3-mile drive home. I understand places can have off days, but this felt like a consistent decline that finally hit rock bottom.

Wishing there were more stalls (and perhaps there were, I didn't ask) If you're a pool player, you'll be wondering why this hasn't been your getaway into a sea of 7' #Diamond pool tables covered in Simonis championship cloth, with bonus 8' and 9' tables! Writing this, I am nearly drooooling (not over the tables though!!) I had seen two separate Facebook posts advertising this establishment that made it appear as though the Saloon and Billiards area were maybe two separate entities maybe under the same roof.I visited yesterday before a tournament at another location as a reconnaissance mission of sorts. See, I'll be playing on a team at Silver Star beginning next week. I'm a self-described ambivert, so to eliminate the anxiety of trying to remember all new names, get my bearings, AND demonstrate the team made a good choice selecting me, I needed to eliminate one part of the "new-ness," ( think: being the new kid in middle school before knowing anyone). Now, I am a natural blonde, and have experienced a complicated entry into a "secret bar" back in the midwest where patron watch the vestibule captured with CCTV as the door person requests the hopeful entrant to do silly human tricks as the bar giggles and commiserates over a drink when finally enter. I entered the vestibule which clearly "open" and located conveniently very near the single disabled parking spot. Through the vestibule to a second door labeled "lLounge,". Mercy-me if I saw no pool tables when I had predicted (and was informed of) a great number of pool tables. Didn't see 'em, thought I may have missed the pool hall section entrance,...I fortunately do not embarrass easily, because I tried 3 other sets of doors that I thought just *had* to lead to my billiards nirvana. When I went back to the initial entrance and walked through the "Lounge" doors, laughing at myself, I INSTANTLY felt at home!! Very lovely bartender Annie fessing up to the value in entertainment revolved around confused pool addicts trying to enter. A few patrons joined in , introducing themselves and immediately helping me to feel relaxed, part of the group, and I'm in love! I didn't eat there but Annie made a great drink, I noticed a few people off-track horse race betting, a wall of electronic dart boards and 2 dart boards for steel-tipped darts. Dart leagues were about to begin, not very many pool players were there at that afternoon hour, though I'm sure weekends are packed. Ed runs a 9-ball tournament every Saturday night, though May 11th, there will be a memorial tournament honoring a pool player in the Vancouver community who had passed away. If you go to Silver Star and are bored, then just shut your pocket and leave the vibe fun and friendly. There's something for everyone: pinball, 2 separate jukeboxes (two sets of speaker systems), so be care when choosing your jukebox from the TouchTunes App. There are bar stools, chairs, small & larger booths, and sections that give me the impression that even on a very crowded night, nobody would be tripping over one another. I noticed their menu features breakfast until 4pm, for a night owl like me, that just doubled my love for this place!! Definitely a place I'll be proud to play for, and perhaps one day I'll be allowed the opportunity to become a marketing partner with! BLOWN AWAY!! 6/5 Thanks for your service, Annie! Tell your Dad, don't change a thing, (except maybe adding a couple restrooms, unless there already are and I just didn't look for nor see additional water-closets) If there's just one women's and one men's restrooms, the line must get quite long at large events ‍

It's safe to say I will never be back to this location for any sort of wedding services/needs…read more I am not a bride, but a MOH in my sister's upcoming wedding. My sister did not buy her dress at The Hostess House but we happened to find the bridesmaids dresses here. Our first visit wasn't too bad, it wasn't too impressive but it wasn't anything worth writing home about. Our second visit for our fitting is what did this place in. My mom, the matron of honor, and I were placed into a dressing room to try on our dresses and left there. We physically had to go find the consultant to ask about alterations and the like. The consultant did not have SHOES on when she came back to talk to us. Our dresses weren't steamed when we got there and the consultant even admitted to "not having the time to get around to it." At this point I had decided I wouldn't be giving this place anymore of my time or money in alterations so we went up the front to pay the shipping costs of the dresses and leave. No one would even acknowledge us and our same consultant was joking with another consultant about their drinking shenanigans. Finally my sister spoke up for us and our consultant said "Oh, I haven't even pulled your file yet let me go check what you owe us." I will never be back there, and I will be telling all future brides/bridesmaids that I know to not go back there.
