Love Discover Chiropractic! I became a patient to receive chiropractic adjustments, massages and become more involved in our community. Medical care- Primarily, I have a couple spinal and neck deformities that cause much tension. Secondarily, I have knee pain. Since seeing Dr. Kogler (chircopractor) and Marie (massage therapist) I have had significant less tension in my neck and back, and my knee pain has lessened while hiking and running. Immediately after adjustments, I feel improved blood flow throughout my body and enjoy the fresh alignment as I exercise! I also feel accomplished from doing my future self a favor, protecting my body from further deformity. Staff- The entire team is full of lovely individuals. They are respectful, professional, and fun! It's a treat getting to know the employees each week. It's neat to receive great medical care while building community. Location- The location of Discover Chiropractic is convenient. I've found it easy to walk or drive there and grab groceries, coffee, or a meal. Also, the building is adorable! The lobby is quite cozy and I enjoy the home-y feeling throughout the building. I was happy to find that it is stroller accessible as well. Scheduling- I have never had an issue scheduling an appointment or being seen. I tend to be very particular about my schedule and they have been very accommodating. I started going to Dr. Kogler a few years back (with a short break in the middle because of insurance issues) because I have scoliosis in two areas of my spine and it became normal life to either be uncomfortable in my shoulders, painful in my hips or just have 3 fingers numb on my right hand. After a steady routine of adjustments from him, I no longer suffer from those issues. I cannot recommend him and his staff enough! I tell all my friends and family (whether they live in the Monroe area or not) that he is THE BEST. He's probably the most personable healthcare professional I've ever met, basically like an old friend in the way he greets you and talks to you but he also makes sure you're super comfortable and know exactly what he's going to do. My first adjustment I was terrified of the neck popping part and he walked me right through it and explained what it does and why it makes such a loud noise and made sure to answer all my weird, nervous questions before proceeding. Now that I'm in my 2nd trimester of pregnancy and everything hurts, he has continued to help me immensely every time I see him. I broke my back when I was 14 years old. I have had 3 back surgeries and I have struggled my whole life. I have been visiting Discover Chiropractic for a bit over a month now, as has two out of my three kids. My husband has been going for significantly longer and is the one that encourage us to visit. I came to Dr. Philip Kogler as a new patient recently with a lot of pain in my lower back, mid back, shoulders, etc. I also came in worried because I lift above 200lbs at the gym and was concerned that I would have to stop that. They were able to get me in quickly in fact seeing me 3 times within 7 days and am now setup with a routine to keep working towards helping my body. I went in just this last Friday after doing 70 deadlifts the night before and one of them being at 275lbs. the DR asked me how my back felt and I was so excited to say it feels great with no pain at all! I was pretty scared to go see a Chiropractor due to breaking my hips and pelvis in a horse riding accident years ago. I ended up seeing Dr. Kogler because I did something to my neck and I could barely move it. He was super gentle and honestly made me feel like I was apart of his client family right away and I was immediately comfortable considering the amount of pain I was in. Within two visits my neck was 110% better! Also, did I mention I called in on an emergency (yes it was that bad) and they squeezed me in the same day!? I started going to Discover when i heard about chiropractic for newborns! My baby from the moment she came out had reflux, gas, digestion problems, and would squirm and grunt allll night long. After the first adjustment she seemed much more comfortable and stopped squirming and by the second adjustment the grunting stopped and she sleeps peacefully and the reflux and gas has gotten much better! She must've just been so uncomfortable with things out of place after being squished in a tummy for so long! Great Chiropractor! I started seeing Dr Kogler a couple of months ago for prenatal chiropractic care. Dr Kogler is very personable and easy to work with. I was very nervous to see a chiropractor while pregnant but he set my mind at ease and I was glad to learn that he is trained in prenatal care and the webster technique. When we found out the baby was breeched Dr Kogler used the webster technique in my care and we were able to successfully unbreech the baby. The staff is also super friendly! So I woke up with a neck that was trying to kill me. Dr Kogler was able to get me in that day and I left feeling much better. In a short time I was 100% again. Than one day he fixed my knee!!!! I had knee surgery a year an a half ago and it had started bothering me again. I thought " Oh S***!!!! Im not going under the knife again!!!!" He said my leg was just out of alignment. I went to see Dr.Kogler a week ago after seeing my primary doctor who diagnosed me with nerve damage on my arms, legs and feet. My pain was a 9 on pain level, and after only 4 visits am on 3 on pain level. He is welcoming and a really nice person, and he listens and targets where your pain is.
