David from Mini Storage Wearhouse stepped up to help me and allowed me to release ownership so I could stop having the burden of trying to remove the stuff and paying the monthly storage fee. I've been using Cascade Self Storage for at least five years now. What's driving this review is this: I live out of state, it costs a pretty penny for me to get here from home. My account has been on autopay since I got this unit over 5 years ago. Bill paid on the 1st, valid through 7/31/26. I submitted a written notice to quit earlier in the month, effective 7/31/26. I receive confirmation of the move-out and what's expected of me and the unit. I show up today to inventory my unit, plan what's going into my rental and what's to be sold this week, only to find the red lock of shame on my unit. There goes my plans for the day. First off, I'm in this move-out trip nearly 3k, with airfare, hotel, and rental car. My time in Medford is limited. I show up, ready to be proactive and find that I'm at a literal impasse on a Sunday with nobody available to assist in this situation. A wasted day, of which I only have four of in-state. For what? Why was that lock on my unit? Who is going to take any responsibility for this fuck up that is costing ME time and money? I'll tell you who won't - Cascade Self Storage West Main.
