I also came here a couple of years for Districts (had to swim a time faster than a cut-off time during the regular season in order to qualify to compete). As our school did not have an on-campus pool, we found it cool Marysville Pilchuck did. The parking for the competitions was not an issue in the handful of times we competed here. Pool workers were friendly and helpful when we had questions. The pool deck could accommodate larger numbers of swimmers, which was especially nice for Districts. Re-visiting the campus today, Wednesday 19 July 2023, I found the pool open for lap swim and fields open to the public. Fun for the school facilities to be open to the public.

I have a friend that has been continuously harassed and even assaulted at one point in the last few weeks. The principle, Mrs. Herman, became aware of the situation and said to my friend and I quote, "just woman up and ignore them." The simple fact that she said this to her face is demeaning. When a girl is being harassed and made fun of almost every day by three different boys, this is not the way to handle things. Something more needs to be done. Horrible job Mrs. Herman.

Also my bus driver was constantly speeding and screaming at us (we got home earlier though, thanks bro) I was almost waterboarded in the girls locker room, a girl fainted during the pacer and had to be taken home in a wheelchair, and like a whole other PILE of things. Also, the overall performance of the school is bad. Oh, and I had 3 different teachers who 'Didn't believe mental illness was real'... The Hootenanny's were ok though (other than that one time where this girl threw up after chugging an entire mountain dew, and when people were doing some...things.. in the band room.) Honestly overall it's a 6/10 still some fun times.

This made it hard for us to have our kids attend not only an unknown school, but district we didn't know anything about. Everyone at this location was so helpful and knowledgeable in getting everything completed for our sons transfer. We were a different case involving not only an out of district transfer, but an in district transfer as well; to allow our son to attend the school of his choice. We have been here for almost a month now and our son loves his new school and we are happy about our move.
