Everyone at this location was so helpful and knowledgeable in getting everything completed for our sons transfer. We were a different case involving not only an out of district transfer, but an in district transfer as well; to allow our son to attend the school of his choice. We have been here for almost a month now and our son loves his new school and we are happy about our move.

I believe preschool should be an amazing experience, it is when our little ones are first introduced to a learning environment. To me a well-rounded school offers learning through classroom experience, art, music, computers, and physical activities. So far I have only found one school in the area that offers this to our preschoolers. Skagit Adventist Academy has overall surpassed all the other preschools in the area for teaching our children to be successful and introducing to them many different aspects of learning. I want my children to love going to school, and to learn as much as possible in a fun, loving environment.

It is evident that they have been able to maintain the quality and caliber of education to the founder's high standards. Truck driving school is quite an investment of time and money and you have to make sure that its for you. You also want to do it right - it's a hell of a lot of responsibility and it is not easy. Driving a truck is a calling and a profession. I took time to research the trucking schools between the Canadian border and south to Everett. I checked out the reviews, the websites and I took the time to drive around Skagit, Whatcom and Snohomish counties looking for a great truck driving school - driving around their yards and snooping around. I chose TaylorMade Truck Driving School in Burlington and I have no regrets. They are not the least costly school, but the program is very thorough and anticipates all of the costs extra. They will work with you, and they won't give up on you. This made all of the difference for me. The instruction was top notch. The instructors are all very different, but they meet and talk in the mornings and at the end of each day. Each student's learning day is graded; the score cards are used as talking points between the instructors. This communication of student progress really allows for a high level of individually tailored instruction. The best part is that the lead instructor is a natural at teaching. He really gets it and truly understands that every person learns differently; the key to success in teaching is finding out how each student learns. It certainly worked for me, an old guy who needed a late life career change. This old dog learned some new tricks and I have the folks at Taylor Made TDS to thank. They rock!

      I went to Running Start at Skagit, and it was an awesome experience! It challenged me and set a…read morefoundation for the rest of my college career. The professors are nice and compassionate. They often get to know you and are willing to help individually if needed. I also appreciate the mix of online and on campus classes the school provides. The online classes help add some flexibility to the hours spent on campus and help you work with a job and school at the same time. If you are thinking of Running Start or of just going after high school or going back to school later in life, this is a great opportunity right in your backyard. It is affordable and the level of education is well worth it. I highly recommend Skagit Valley College!
