This year, 2025, we called them to report it was not working sufficiently: temp is set at 23, but the house registers 24.5 degrees! They want to charge $150 just to come out and inspect the problem. The original unit lasted approximately 20 years without an issue. This new Carrier unit installed by Convertible is just over 4 years old and it's unable to maintain a comfortable temperature of 23. Recent heat waves are a good test of the quality of an air conditioner unit, as well as the reliability of the company you hire when you need a new one. Disappointed in both!

Since 2006, I have purchased a furnace, air conditioner and tankless water heater for two houses and have been very pleased with the quality, the service, the staff as well as the price. I highly recommend this company. And the sales person I dealt with on both occasions was Marnie Amodeo. She was exceptional at helping me find the exact products I needed for my homes. On Monday (Jan 31) we noticed that our HVAC system was leaking, flooding our basement. We called…read morethis company who had previously installed the HVAC system. The old owner used this company prior to us buying the house in 2020. The technician who came to repair the HVAC said the issue was that the condensation pump was broken and placed a new pump. After installing the new pump he found that the condensation drain led outside the house and into the garden. The cause of the issue was that the condensation drain, which should have never been installed leading outside, had frozen, backed up the pump and caused the pump to break. He said our only option was to get a new line installed but we'd have to pay to have a new line installed, despite the fact that this company had ran the previous line, that had broken the previous pump, flooding our basement. He left our 'fixed' pump with the condenser going into a bucket. We paid $500 for this service. The next day (Tuesday 1st) we called to speak to the manager and spoke to Rhonda who said she didn't think having a new line installed was a unreasonable ask, but she needs to confirm with the owner and would call us back in half an hour. It's now Friday (Feb 4th) both me and my husband have called back multiple times to ask whats going on and have been told multiple times that the owner and manager are both too busy, the receptionist would leave a message for them to call us back. I asked if I could book a meeting or some time with either of them and was told that wouldn't be possible but she would again leave them a message to call us back. We're absolutely appalled by the customer service of this company. This company originally ran the line outside that cause the flooding in our basement that we've now had to make an insurance claim over. We can't use the $300 pump that they installed because if we did the exact same thing would happen. Asking for the company to rerun a line, is not an unreasonable ask considering the damage that has been done to the basement and the results we've been left with from the service. We have absolutely no idea why anyone would run a line that carries water, outside, in Canada where, it will freeze... If you're looking for a company to conduct good workmanship, good communication and customer service, please look somewhere else.

It wasn't cost-effective to repair, and Green Heating and Air offered to replace the furnace within 24 hours at a reasonable cost. Hassan and his team arrived the next day and removed the old furnace, then did a completely new furnace installation and inspection within a few hours. They covered our floors to minimize dirt and tracking and worked quickly and efficiently. We would recommend Green Heating and Air to anyone and would use them again.

In February 2026, Hassan came to my home to repair my air conditioner. During the visit, my programmable thermostat was removed and replaced with a non-programmable thermostat that I did not request. My original thermostat was functioning before it was removed, and it was not returned to me. I was then charged $598.90 for the replacement thermostat. When the thermostat stopped working in February 2026, I contacted Hassan numerous times. Despite multiple appointments being scheduled by Hassan and the receptionist, technicians repeatedly failed to show up. The issue remained unresolved for months. Eventually, Hassan sent someone to inspect the thermostat. After that visit, I received another invoice for $120, which I paid on June 3, 2026. As of June 10, 2026, I have made approximately 20 calls  regarding this matter and have still not received a satisfactory resolution. Based on my experience, I found the customer service to be very poor and unprofessional. I am frustrated by the lack of communication, missed appointments, and the ongoing failure to resolve the thermostat issue. I would not recommend this company based on my personal experience. This version focuses on the specific events and dates, which generally makes a review more credible and effective. It also avoids language that could be interpreted as personal attacks while still clearly describing your experience.

Chris came out right away and explained what our options were and answered all our questions. He was able to fix the issue and saved us having to replace the furnace.
