Do NOT use this contractor! The partners Tim and Mark are devoid of integrity, extremely dishonest, and incredibly incompetent. They employ[ed] the classic bait-and-switch tactic - after signing the contract they come back 4 days later to say the material (or size, or color, or whatever) is no longer available, then switch to an inferior product, and don't adjust the price commensurately. Their subcontractors are both sub par and untrustworthy. For example, the painting subcontractor crew consumed cannabis right in the driveway throughout the days they showed up (with a fair amount of paint applied where it didn't belong.) My husband and I hired this company a couple years ago to replace our shingle wood siding with vinyl siding. Mark Gelinas was polite and easy to deal with. The siding team lead by Billy was outstanding. The job was done beautifully and still looks great. The team worked a very long day everday to complete the job and in 90 something degree temperatures with blazing hot sun. If you are looking to have your siding replaced, these are your people. Siding, gutters,, We had siding and gutters done. They were quick, professional and couldn't be happier.

We used Casanova to replace our roof, all gutters and to install new window shutters. Pretty big job for us and for them. The sales person was quite pushy, trying to close the deal as soon as possible and trying to sell you as much stuff he can. The crew appeared on time and they did everything within a day. They were quite quick. We thought this was a good thing initially. The problems started to show months later when we had the first bigger wind. The metal trim that sits just under the roof and covers the wooden fascia started to fall off. After it happened twice, I called Casanova to report the problem and see if they would be able to fix it. They denied they had replaced the trip although both my wife and I had watched them replacing it (next time we have to record it). They claimed it was not in the contract (which is true), but this was a relatively small detail to put in the contract considering the size of the job they did. They asked $500 to put just two small pieces of trim back under the roof, saying $500 is their minimum charge. I talked to them several times trying to figure out the possible compromise and tell them they actually changed the trim when they replaced the old roof, but they were not eager to to admit it. In the meantime, the trim pieces continue to fall off and we have to have significant cost replacing them without Casanova. Needless to say before the old roof was replaced with the new one, we never had a single problem with the old trim (for 11 years), and in a year and a half this happened several times already.
