The whole process was less than 10 minutes and the cost was almost the same with the local pharmacies. But what I received was a passport photo taken by a experienced professional photographer with actual studio lighting. Also, since the studio is located near several different foreign embassies, the photographer even has all the settings for the photo requirements for different country ready in the computer. I appreciated the extra service that was provided and could not have been more pleased with the result. The studio is located close to magnificent mile and has street parking and a parking garage directly opposite. All the photography happens in the adjacent room where patrons stand on a old frayed Persian rug with special lighting umbrellas / instruments. We usually do not review and much less write a negative review but we feel we need to inform the…read morepublic about the shoddy workmanship and questionable building methods of this builder. Initially when we did our project the contractor took us to view a few of his projects and although we found it strange that he did not share contact information of his clients he paraded a number of projects for our review. Once we started working with him we soon found that the personality of the owner was toxic. He fought with all the people who we brought to him, it was a constant battle with rude phone calls, emails, and even personal conversations. We had built and renovated before but never had had such a difficult relationship with the builder. After a few weeks we were just wanting to finish the project but it took months before we could finish and not submit ourselves to such bad and negative behavior. On a number of occasions we pointed out bad building errors and the contractor acted very defensively and kept saying he was the best, which of course he was not. A few months after the construction we noticed the tiles in the bathroom were leaking through which took weeks for him to accept he had laid them wrong. In short we ended replacing all the tiles in the bathroom. About two years after the project was done we started having ceiling and floor cracks and found out from another contractor that proper building code was not followed. We had to replace part of the ceiling and floor. Just a nightmare we will never forget!
