I have had the pleasure of living in laurel glen for over a year and was shocked when my client…read moretold me of the negative review. Linda is a very kind caring and over all wonderful person. Dan the maintenance man is amazing! He taught me a lot and a lot of the people here have never had their own place so he makes an effort to teach how to fix things if you just ask, instead of just fixing it and running out. We are soooo fortunate that this nice of townhouses are available at a SUBSIDIZED OR FREE RENT ( my husband and I work full time and dont get hud or anything unless i work for it), I know my family is truly blessed to be in such a big and spacious townhouse for only $600.00 per month! There is an awesome jungle gym for the kids, basketball court, and a courtyard thats always maintained. I have talked to many previous and current tenants and they ALL loved the place. We did install a camera and security system through ADT. But it is Redding so I would have installed one anywhere I lived Disregard any negative reviews as some people obviously have way too much idle time and instead of working or being a productive member of society they sit around looking for negative behaviors (that arent even there), misery loves company. AND I have multiple nieces and nephews who are African-American, we have family dinners here and have had linda stop by just to play with the kids, and never EVER EVER discriminated against my family. So yet again just another example of how lying is cruel and wrong. I am not a friend or family member of the manager just wanted to paint a true unbiased picture. And if you are lucky enough to get into laurel glen you will feel the same. It did take us a few months on a wait list but was well worth the wait.

The staff is friendly, the pool and laundromat is kept clean, and the gym is pretty accessible. I love the vaulted ceilings in the upstairs appt.s, and the views are so great! Perfect for Fourth of July Fireworks! I love how many washing machines and dryers they have. I can get all my laundry done in a timely manner, and I rarely have to wait for someone else to finish theirs before I can wash. That's pretty unheard of for places like this! And the pool accommodates quite a few swimmers, so I also never feel like we get in each others' ways. I would prefer that they give us a laundry card and clubhouse key for every tenant, rather than the number of bedrooms. Because I have been locked out of the pool/laundromat many times just because my roommate accidentally took the key we have to share. The carpet in our apartment is pretty gross, and welllll worn. Some of our neighbors have updated flooring, so I can see that they're doing it as it needs to be done. But this stuff will def need to be changed when we move out. Haha! But other than all that, life is good here.

I have lived at Shasta Creek Apartments for over 2 years and have loved it. Living on my own, this…read morewas the only place I considered in Redding. Debbie, the property manager, is the best!!! She is so responsive and caring, and is on top of everything! It's always clean here, maintenance doesn't slack, and there is security that patrols the complex at night. I have always felt safe and am so thankful this has been the place I get to call home in Redding.

I moved to Shasta Creek apartments in 2017, so I'm not sure if the older reviews are referring to…read morethe same manager. Anyway, I had a great experience living here. The manager, Debbie, is personable and accommodating. She truly cares about the residents and responds to phone calls or voicemails quickly. Service requests are responded to within the same day (if you place the request early that day). Neighbors are generally considerate. My next door neighbor occasionally played loud music, so I could hear it through my bedroom wall. However, the walls were thick enough that I couldn't hear anything except for that loud music. I was lucky to rent an apartment that had a new stove and dishwasher. The washer and dryer were loud and old, but they worked fine. Closing the doors in front of the laundry machines blocked the noises thankfully. However, the next tenant of my apartment unit will be fortunate enough to have those laundry machines replaced in addition to new carpet and vinyl. Lucky them! The apartment itself is spacious and clean. My only issue is that the ventilation above the stove wasn't effective, but opening the window helped. None of the appliances broke. The A/C and heater have never failed me either. There were spiders, mainly in the kitchen and the balcony. I guess the only good thing was that I overcame some of my arachnophobia having to get rid of them, haha. Debbie was straightforward when it came to the inspection prior to the move out. She wants you to get your full security deposit refund, and sure enough, I got the full refund. I appreciate this, as in the past, I had been cheated by an apartment manager who took almost all of my security deposit for "maintenance reasons". Overall, I had an amazing experience living in Shasta Creek. I highly recommend it!

Prepare to be blamed and targeted for everything. Maintenance does a terrible job on keeping up on taking care of this place. The boards around all patios are all rotted and warped because of the sun and poorly put together with cheap wood, but you'll be blamed for them being broken or falling down even when you're not home...Manager Britney is not very nice or welcoming, be careful not to be on her bad side or she will screw you over your whole stay. It's literally just a miserable place to live and talking to most other tenants, they have the same problem with management and everything else. If you like walking in egg shells, this is your place. There's definitely favorites in the complex around as well just an FYI. Do not recommend staying here even for s short period of time.

It would be one thing if you actually used that money for upkeep but you really don't. You put a bandaid on problems and continue to blame and ridicule tenets when crap keeps breaking. The manager if you can call her that at this particular set of apartments, plays the favorites game. Some get away with murder while others walk a very fine line for no reason. I spoke with many tenets that live in this complex and they've all had issues with Brittany. Fortunately her hubby works in the corporate office so she's safe to treat people like crap. Corporate should be ashamed of themselves for raising rent prices again, oh but they'll lower it of you sign in to another lease. Figure it out times are tough for everyone, not everyone has Bethel footing the bill. You have hard working people in that complex that you're going to force out because of your greedy asses. Must be nice to sit on your pedestal and look down on hard working families.
