It was our first time visiting and the reason we were in the Philippines want because of our friends' wedding. So they planned an itinerary for us and that Coron is a beautiful place to visit. What can we say? Indeed. I believe she found this through Airbnb. We had other options but none of the ones we selected were available to our stay so she was able to find this treehouse resort. Which it's awesome because I always wanted to stay in a treehouse and see how it's like to live in the forest. But this is obviously the luxury way haha Our first was super early so we arrived hours before our check-in time. So we just chilled and ordered breakfast. The staffs are crazy awesome cooks! Everything they cooked was so delicious and the drinks too! I can't tell you what to order since the menu changes everyday, especially dinner. For drinks, definitely try the...coffee shake? Man, I forgot the name but just look for the word coffee on the drink menu. You won't disappoint. I also had the jungle juice, which was also very good. Anyway, while waiting, we looked for places to go so we decided to go island hopping and the owner was able to arrange rides and book a boat for us. And the staff was able to cook and packed us lunch so we can eat it on the island. That was awesome. After we came back, we got to our room which had the most beautiful view and the one we stayed in was the newest one built. It was just finished a couple months ago. It had two bunk beds that'll fit 6 people. Anyway, the owner Brian has a great sense of humor. The staffs are nice. The dog, Buhay! He took us to the waterfall when I just casually mentioned that he should walk us to the waterfall. Man, super smart dog. And he got very sad when we were leaving. :( There's also a cat that I can't remember the name, but he/she is one little thief, it will jump on the table to steal our food. Hahaha It was a very nice stay. The reason I took a star off is because the shower was salt water..haha. So be careful when you wash your face, don't get them in your eyes. And the bed sheets were so new that the color got on my feet. I thought I was posioned when I saw it the next morning. Lol By the way, I didn't get a single bug bite! It could be the big repellent though.

I was in this guesthouse for 5 nights. It was the cheapest accommodation with bathroom and less…read moredirty I found in El Nido. But still, it was not so cheap and it was as not so clean as I would have liked. The room I was given, on the first floor, overlooking the main street of El Nido, so the noise from 6 in the morning would not let you sleep too. The room was small enough that could fit a bed and a small table. There was no wardrobe or other place to clothes. The bathroom was so small too that the shower was falling over the toilet and the sink was tiny. Also it had no exit to the outside, so that moisture remained. It should be common in the Philippines but did not come to clean the room at the time I was there staying. The only thing special about this accommodation is that it is very near the beach of El Nido and you can order breakfast, which is not too varied.
