Maybe the worst ribs I've ever had. Sloppy sweet sauce was kinda gross. Decent service.

We walked to multiple other restaurants and the stars seemed to align and told us to go back to Free souls. So glad that happened. David is spectacular- he flawlessly runs the show at Freesouls. The attention to detail, the anticipation of the guests needs and the quality of food were all top notch. This service is better than most in the USA! Absolutely Ritz Carlton quality (I used to work at a RItz so I'm not joking). We ordered the Shrimp stack, the ceaser salad, a margarita pizza, the yellowfin tuna entrée and the best brownie ever made! Way to much food but we wanted to try everything! Worth every penny! This place was absolutely amazing. 5 stars with lots of exclamations. Do yourself a favor and eat here. You can make a reservation as well.

He was apologizing as they were in between staff and it was the holidays so some people were off or sick. I would definitely give it a try. You can't beat the setting and you can head there right after you go to Cerritos beach.

The first time, our group of four sat outside in the courtyard, which was so cute and had a great atmosphere. Their mezcal selection is incredible--everything from Espadín to Tobalá to Madrecuishe. We were so excited to see mezcal from one of our favorite places in Oaxaca on the menu! The server was super fun and kept the good vibes going the whole night. We ended up staying for two hours (and even canceled our dinner reservation somewhere else) because we were having such a great time. The food was amazing--we shared tamales and chicharrón, which paired perfectly with the mezcal. The courtyard was amazing, the music was awesome and it was just such a fun scene. A few days later, we went back and sat inside, which was just as great. We ended up chatting with the table next to us and loved being able to try so many different mezcals while learning about each one. That's what I love most about a good mezcalería--the chance to taste, learn, and truly enjoy the experience. La Miserable has everything: a killer mezcal selection, a welcoming vibe, and great food. If you're in La Paz, you have to check it out. Can't wait to go back one day!

We walked around the block for about 15 minutes trying to find it until we saw someone standing outside El Patio and asked where the heck this bar was. Turns out, you have to walk through the restaurant to get to it! It's located in the courtyard. We came on a night they were going to have a ticketed event, but since we were there early, they let us stay at our table without cover. We ordered a punch bowl to share among the five of us. The cocktail tasted great and the service was awesome! It was warm and humid and the guys turned the fan they had towards us to keep us cool! I really liked the vibes here; you feel like you're in a jungle (it was dark with trees and plants around you; the space was lit by colored lights) at a secret outdoor nightclub. Check their Facebook page for special events -- I think the cover was only about the equivalent of $10USD/person.

The staff doesn't really understand English and I wanted Jameson and ginger and I got whiskey with soda. After explaining again, the nice waiter got me a whiskey and ginger beer (since they had no Jameson) and switched it out for us. The DJ that night was great! It was all house music that evening which was fun. The crowd is mixed but the place had an awesome vibe. The doorman was fun too! Thanks!
