Yummy - delicious vegetarian burrito :):)! Super friendly wait staff - was not crowded at all when I was there at 1 pm on a Wednesday. I sat on a bed in the shade - was luxurious. Recommend coming here as a break from surfing :)

Super fresh, and good quality food and cocktails. Loved the ambiance and super friendly staff. I highly recommend it. I had visited every day I stayed in Cabo. Shrimp ceviche, fish tacos were great!

Sexi Mexi cocktail & fish taco

Perfect little outdoor restaurant and bar right up the street from the beach. I stopped in during happy hour on Tuesday (2 for 1 margs) and got the Sexi Mexi cocktail with mezcal and passion fruit, a little sweet and a little spicy. Had to order the famous fish taco which was perfectly crispy and a decent size compared to some of the other street tacos. Loaded it up with their homemade hot sauces too -- they were so good I wanted to buy a bottle and take it home with me. All the bartenders and servers were friendly and gave us recommendations for our trip. I stopped by the next day for a round 2 but unfortunately they were closed on Wednesday. Will 100% be coming back the next time I'm in Cabo. This is a must visit spot!

Shrimp and fish taco. Shrimp was BOMB.

The wife and I decided to try this place as it's a short walk from where we are staying. We both loved it. We've tried most of the places around Cerritos beach that are highly rated and we haven't loved any of them. They are nice in their own ways and unique so it's fun to try new places but I haven't been "wowed" until this place, which came as a surprise to me. We arrived right before they opened at noon so they let us relax in one of the lounge chairs with an umbrella in the front. We ordered a few drinks which came promptly and then it was time to relax. They started playing some music and the vibe became great quickly. Our main server Diego was terrific and checked on us regularly. We went to to a table to eat. We had guacamole and chips, a quesadilla, fries, a grilled shrimp taco and a fish taco (fried). Everything tasted great. The grilled shrimp taco was the stand out to me. Totally delicious and tasted much better than a shrimp risotto I had in a ridiculously overpriced restaurant in Pescadero last night. The drinks were spot on. Totally delicious and unique. The fresh salsas in little squeeze bottles they bring are fantastic! Diego even brought a little propeller fan to help with the annoying flies. Those help a lot. We look forward to coming back and making this a regular place to go to on our next visit.

The best Paloma in the world.

My partner has been talking about this place for years and I finally got to visit. Sheesh! The food & cocktails here are incredible. The shrimp tacos were the best we had & the Paloma is simply divine. These items were so good that we came back the following day for round two. Barracuda Cantina has a great vibe... but the flavors and quality cocktails are what brought us back. The combination of butterfly-cut then charred / grilled shrimp + salsa & fresh toppings is what put these tacos ahead of any others we tried during our visit. The staff was friendly and helpful, even during the busier lunch rush. I cannot wait to come back for more tacos & Palomas.

Yam and fish tacos

Great food, great prices and good service! We tried the fish, shrimp, and yam tacos and allllll good. 2 for one margs during happy hour with your feet in the sand? Yes please. And the prices were great.

Been here twice and can easily say this place is overpriced and overhyped. Drinks are quite pricey but were delicious to say the least. Tried both the House margaritas and mojitos. Tacos are okay ... but really not worth it. The only taco I liked was the fried avocado taco. I wouldn't recommend the sweet potato taco because the sweet potato wasn't cooked all the way. It would totally be better if they cooked it longer. Everyone who ordered it in our group said the same ... Buttttt... the fries were slappin tho. They're not on the menu itself, but just ask for them and they can make 'em. Perfectly crunchy and seasoned. Our other friends with us who tried the quesadillas and said they were really good. They also said the shrimp tacos were decent, but if you get them battered then all you taste is the batter and not the actual shrimp itself... just figured I'd mention ! Service was great. The staff was very attentive, even when the kitchen was getting ready to close they made sure we had everything we needed and made sure we didn't want to order anything else. Probably wouldn't go for a third time.

Great beach restaurant! It hits the spot after a long day of surfing and sunburns. They have fresh food, and even better prices. For a small restaurant, it was packed with everyone who ventured the block up the street from the beach. There were locals and travelers, and everyone was very kind. The service was efficient and fast. Once seated, you go order at the window of the food truck in the restaurant for food, and they will bring it out to you. They do have bathrooms for customers to use as well.

What a hidden gem! We stopped by for our first meal after our flight on a whim and we were pleasantly surprised by the gorgeous tropical setting, strong drinks, and superb food. Here was probably the place we went to with the best guac, with the freshest tasting chips and flavorful dip. I ordered fish tacos, which were noticeably more fresh and loaded than comparable US spots. I highly recommend this place and venturing down the dirt road to find it!

Barracuda Cantina is a must if you're at or near Cerritos Beach! "Barracuda Cantina has the best ceviche and passion fruit margaritas" we were told by Juliana, the proprietor at Todos Santos' legendary bakery Taller 17. It was well worth the trip to this food truck turned mini-beach resort at Cerritos Beach. It's a surfers' hangout for loads of reasons: awesome cheap eats, festive drinks, good vibes, and great tunes. What's all the fuss about? First, the food. Tasty tostadas. The fish taco is fried light and crispy. The shrimp taco is fantastic too. And the smoked fish quesadilla is sublime. Then the drinks. Brown Pride is probably my favorite drink - mezcal, tamarind, lime, and ancho reyes roja. Also Flor d'Mexico - mezcal, Jamaica, lime, Aperol, and agave. Now the vibes. Two of the guys here, Vidal and Frank are way cool. Daniel too. Musically, the surf's always up. These guys turned me on to my new favorite Latin reggae band, Rawayana. I realized that, despite wanting to sample as much of the local cuisine as possible, on my two extended trips here, not a week went by without another visit to Barracuda. Don't expect fanciness, it's about tastiness. Wear your flip flops, not your heels.

Shrimp tacos - Grilled.

Adding an additional star from my prior review. Went back to Barracuda Cantina this past week. Service was good. Shrimp tacos were good. No chicken or beef options. Beers are cheap. A lot of flies. Again. Doesn't feel real clean. I like the layout. Cool vibe. I just can't get to 4 stars. Very few options in the area. Wish they had a better food selection.

This is a lovely food truck/bar shack by the beach. We were told they had amazing deep fried tacos, however we were offered grilled fish and shrimp for our family style dinner, along with some shrimp and fish ceviche. Some of our group liked the ceviche, which is a plus. However, I found the ceviche was chopped too fine, and the grill seafood was a bit dry. However, I do enjoyed the cocktail "sexy mexi", which was sweet (passionfruit), salty and smoky (ancho verde). If i have any recommendation, it'd be to order their deep fried seafood tacos ! I heard they are delicious!

The first time, our group of four sat outside in the courtyard, which was so cute and had a great atmosphere. Their mezcal selection is incredible--everything from Espadín to Tobalá to Madrecuishe. We were so excited to see mezcal from one of our favorite places in Oaxaca on the menu! The server was super fun and kept the good vibes going the whole night. We ended up staying for two hours (and even canceled our dinner reservation somewhere else) because we were having such a great time. The food was amazing--we shared tamales and chicharrón, which paired perfectly with the mezcal. The courtyard was amazing, the music was awesome and it was just such a fun scene. A few days later, we went back and sat inside, which was just as great. We ended up chatting with the table next to us and loved being able to try so many different mezcals while learning about each one. That's what I love most about a good mezcalería--the chance to taste, learn, and truly enjoy the experience. La Miserable has everything: a killer mezcal selection, a welcoming vibe, and great food. If you're in La Paz, you have to check it out. Can't wait to go back one day!

We walked around the block for about 15 minutes trying to find it until we saw someone standing outside El Patio and asked where the heck this bar was. Turns out, you have to walk through the restaurant to get to it! It's located in the courtyard. We came on a night they were going to have a ticketed event, but since we were there early, they let us stay at our table without cover. We ordered a punch bowl to share among the five of us. The cocktail tasted great and the service was awesome! It was warm and humid and the guys turned the fan they had towards us to keep us cool! I really liked the vibes here; you feel like you're in a jungle (it was dark with trees and plants around you; the space was lit by colored lights) at a secret outdoor nightclub. Check their Facebook page for special events -- I think the cover was only about the equivalent of $10USD/person.
