Enchiladas Verde and Burrito

Chicken enchiladas were amazing! Beans are homemade and delicious. Steak burrito and the rice lacked flavor/ seasoning. Service was amazing and friendly. No draft beer. Mango margarita was not lacking taquilla I believe that they use a house brand but not enough. We will return soon

The food was ok and did have so much that I had leftovers for lunch the next day. I had to add more flavor but it's wasn't bad. I ordered the tamales. To start off I had a side of queso, which was really a small shot of queso really not worth how small it was. I had the house margarita. Not bad but did not go with a second. Casa Margarita isn't horrible just not worth a second try. The service was nice and food arrived quickly. The restaurant was clean but I had the unluck pleasure of sitting next to a loud talker who literally talked loudly the whole time. I know this isn't the restaurant or staff's fault but it added to why I won't be back.

Decent Mexican food at a reasonable price. Generally speaking you may have to wait a few minutes on weekends. They don't take reservations. Service is above average to good. They will give you complementary chips and salsa once you are seated. As far as food is concerned you have multiple options to pick from. My recommendation is their Carne Asada. They also have some vegetarian options in the menu. Additionally there is sufficient parking. If you are looking for a low key nite out I would recommend this place.

The restaurant inside and out is so eye-catching and colorful! Walking in we were greeted with moderate music playing. As a tradition restaurant you are also greeted with salsa and chips! The drinks and food came out at a good time as-well! Very nice ambiance for eating out; they also have outdoor seating!

Multitasking is the key to serving. My server Ceasar might of been busy, but his lack of attending 1 table at time needs improvement. 10-15 minutes to get our drink then run. We would of ordered. 18 minutes later asked us for order. We asked for our check. Restaurant dirty.

So I understand it is rather difficult to find servers nowadays, truly, I do. However, when you plan on spending a pretty penny for a family of 6 one would expect at least some kind of hospitality. We entered and were shown directly to our table by the hostess. We waited for someone to stop at our table and offer drinks. We waited some more. And waited. Finally after 20 minutes waiting the server came and took our drink order. I requested waters with our horchata and margarita order. I had also wanted to order our meals at the same time, because who knew how long he would be gone for. However, as quick as a flash he was gone once more. We received our paid drinks fairly quickly, but did not receive more than two waters. Umm, my children really need water if they are consuming chips. I would have requested more at the bar, but there was absolutely no one working there! And so we waited once more. When he finally returned with our nachos I requested them again and he pretty much shot me down quickly by stating he remembered and would get them. Umm, and you expect a good tip? Finally, our meals arrived. With the rest of the requested waters. Their lunch specials are still fairly reasonable. Decent portion sizes for the price, albeit overly oiled. My husband also stated the shrimp tasted off. Presentation was good, though. Our server had no issue giving us our check, though. Sure, when it's time to pay he had all the time in the world. Apparently we were also not the only ones who felt that way. Another couple who had initially attempted to eat at the bar and were subsequently told to sit in a booth eventually left even though they had ordered drinks still left at the table, untouched. Service here stinks!!!

Our favorite is mole de coco on salmon but you can put any mole on any type of meat. This visit I challenged my husband to order something new. He's vegan so he got the fajitas de vegetables and I got a chicken tinga burrito. Both were delicious and we'd order them again. This is authentic Mexican food in an elegant style. Try it!

Then we had to order some table side guacamole which was so rich and delicious. Then we ordered our entrees. The California Steak Burrito. This burrito had a sauce on it that had a hint of lime that was so delicious and the portion size was large. The presentation looked desirable as well. The two tacos with rice and beans were a hit as well. The first bite of the Pastor taco had a bite of pineapple that made it so tasty and delicious, but that was the only bite. Not saying the remaining taco wasn't bad. The Carne Asada tacos though, this one was on point with every bite. I'm not sure what was crunchy, but I just couldn't get enough so we ordered four more to-go. Man those were so delicious! Don't skip on those! Hands down those flavors in that Carne Asada tacos made it the best tacos I've even eaten. The service was great and he was very attentive. The restaurant was decorated nicely. A little dimmer, but not too much. And the location is very nice as well.

The kitchen might not be as manned up as it should be but that's okay, just be patient for your food, I promise its worth it. When you walk in there's a traditional ranch vibe to the place that is super inviting. There's plenty of seating as well. We orderer a Taco Pirata, Chicharron Botanero en Salsa Verde Gorditas and Deshebrada en Salsa Verde. The Taco Pirata is a quesadilla with Carne Asada in a flour tortilla. The cheese is delicious and the asada is juicy making for a delicious bite. The Botanero in Salsa Verde Gorditas were delicious too with the meat being cooked perfectly in the salsa and the Deshebrada was surprisingly the best thing we had. So simple but so delicious with great flavors. The food was all so comforting. We also ordered a Piña Agua Fresca that was so refreshing. Ibadan had other Agua Frescas here before and we wanted originally ordered the Pepino but the server politely informed us they were out. We waited roughly 20 minutes for our food but again, its absolutely worth it!

They had the best El pastor tacos I have ever eaten and I was hoping it would still be the same. Well it wasn't sadly. Their chorizo was the worst I've ever had it didn't even taste like chorizo and their steak which got rave reviews as well as their pastor just stunk. Makes me seriously wonder where people who think it's great have ever eaten Mexican food outside of this place. All the meats to me had the taste and texture like they weee boiled or cooked in water they were like mushy in texture and no taste. Kind of like canned dogfood. Cost us $47 for one enchilada dinner and 3 single tacos (asada, el pastor and chorizo) and 2 drinks which they were out of Coke Zero really the only diet soda we will drink. I think o would have enjoyed Taco Bell better seriously and for less money. We will definitely not be back. Too many other places in the area that are far better than this place. Sad because they used to have the best ever pastor.
