Came here on a Saturday Morning at 11AM for brunch. Place has a very cool look from the outside. It's basically a large shipping container converted into a restaurant. Plenty of seating. Staff was very friendly. And out waitress was awesome.
Me and Wifey weren't starving so we dediced to split a Chilaquiles Torta. For my Non Mexican friends. Chilaquiles are like a Mexican version of breakfast nachos covered in salsa. And a torta simply is a sandwich. We got ours with Chicarone de Ramos (Fried Pork cheeks send down from the Gods). And Wifey got an Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice (she always gets a fresh Squeezed juice when were in Mexico).
The presentation and the quality were both top notch. The OJ came in a Mason jar and was a large portion and Wifey loved it. The Sandwich was a medium size portion with toasted buttery bread and we both were impressed. It came out on a butcher's block which was cool. They also had pickled jalapenos and hot salsa which I definitely added to my half of the sandwich. They also had a sourcream which Wifey decided to use on her half. I definitely like my food hotter than her.
Overall this is a very cool place. My wife spoke to the people at the counter as we were paying the bill and let them know we liked their Chilaquiles Torta as much as the world famous one in Mexico City which we recently had. They were very happy to hear. I look forward to coming back soon and trying the lunch menu and maybe some of their meat tacos. read more
