Yelp Review 2025 #182: One of my favorite Brazilian foods is pao de queijo so, of course, I had to stop by at one of Casa Do Pao De Queijo's many locations all over Brazil. This one is conveniently located inside GRU airport. My flight going to Uruguay was at 6:30am. This place was already open before 5am! Turns out they're open 24/7 which is very convenient when you're hungry and need a snack before/ after your flight. Since my Portuguese is terrible, I saw the kiosks and immediately tried to use one of them. But for whatever reason, it won't take my credit card. Placing my order from the kiosk took a lot of scrolling only for my payment to be denied. So, I went to the counter to place my order with a human instead. I know basic Portuguese and was able to go place my order. Whew! I got a table by the window - it's a quiet area with the exception of a group of American teenage boys spilling their drink on the floor trying to ask for napkins in English to employees that only speak Portuguese. I felt like I got better service for at least trying to speak Portuguese. A few minutes later, they delivered my tray of food to me. They had the teenagers grab their food from the counter! LOL. Pao de Queijo: It was nice and hot with the cheese still glistening in the middle while the outer layer is crispy. You can get the traditional which is quite big or the mini ones. Savory and satisfying. 4/5 Brigadeiro: Another Brazilian food I love. They're like freshly-made truffles made with condensed milk. Sweet, chocolatey, soft as it should be. It's bigger than typical brigadeiro. 4/5 Suco de Maracuja: Passionfruit juice. You can tell it's not from real passionfruit because it's just as tart as the actual fruit. They gave me a few packets of sugar on my tray. I like it tart so I only used 1 packet of sugar. Ice-cold and refreshing. 4.5/5 They have cakes, empanadas, tarts, sandwiches, coffee, shakes, and cookies. Don't expect a full meal. They only serve snacks. read more

Had a long vacation in Peru, and had a long journey back home, passing through the Sao Paolo airport. Looked around the international terminal, and decided to eat at this lovely looking little place. Ambiance was nice. Plenty of seating, nice big windows outlooking the runways. A good place to chill and wait for your flight. Service was non-existent. I ordered from a kiosk, and went to get my own food. So, no complaints? I just hate this de-humanization of the service industry. I had the cheese bread, of course. Yummy stuff. Very warm and just cheesy enough to not need dipping sauce. Lovely. I also had a sandwich and some pastries. I don't remember exactly what, and I foolishly didn't take picture, but I remember being perfectly pleased with everything. read more

Pros: Location was perfect. Smack dab in the middle of the international terminal, right on our way home from Peru. Service was nice and easy. A service touchscreen kiosk took our order, and we picked it up from the counter. No fuss. Food was pretty ok. I liked the classic paos, but the sandwich left something to be desired. Cons: Like I said, the sandwich was just ok, and the drinks were a little lacking in flavor. Probably because they're not full of the poisons that America allows in their food and drink. Tips: There are probably better places to eat here. There are probably worse. You won't be disappointed here. read more

This is a common place that you can find in most of Brazil airports. I've been in many of them and I always enjoy their coffee (cafe con leite) and cheese bread (pão de queijo). The service is always very attentive. The lines are crowded sometimes depending on how busy the airport is on a specific day. read more

Checked out this little pastry and coffee shop literally across the isle from Starbucks. I thought we'd try something authentic. We ordered a simple coffee. When it was ready it was a tiny cup of pure caffeine. Wow!!!! So strong but tempered with sugar it was delicious and did the job. I also ordered and Bavarian cream filled donut. Not bad. Overpriced, that's a given. But I really liked the hot chocolate because it's so cold over here and it was nice and frothy, and more chocolate less sugar. Pão de queijo was warm and cheesy. The first girl that helped me could have been nicer, but the second was super nice. read more

This was OK. It is a chain, so do not prepare yourself to be blow away with transcendent cuisine. What you get here is a standard Pao de Queijo that you can enjoy while waiting between flights. Coffee wasn't bad either. I would definitely pick this over a 7-11 or a Starbucks, though. You can't beat Brazilian comfort food! read more

Not really good. Pão de queijo was just normal, but I asked for a cold chocolate and it was terrible. Only milk and ice with almost no chocolate. Attendants doesn't care too much about you here. read more
