They led us to what was basically a private room (it seemed like all the spaces were private) where the food was already laid out for us. It ranged from various cured meats, cheeses, olives to potatoes and tripe, and lots and lots of wine. It was a heck of a lot even considering there was 10 of us. We stuffed ourselves and the waitresses started clearing our plates...then proceeded to bring out beef stew, then pasta, then ice cream sundaes. Oh sweet lord, we did not realize what we were in for. Price-wise, it was a steal. 7000 ARS for all of us, netting out to about $16 USD per person. The food wasn't particularly memorable but the experience was. It was a great time with mounds of food and great service (they speak very little english, so be prepared) in a relaxed and private atmosphere. Would recommend.

The menu has salads with warm shrimp or chicken, a dig a station of grilled provolone cheese, your usual meets with slight twists like a eggplant dip on top of your roasted potatoes with your steak. They bring a bread basket with two slices of tomato focaccia, two slices of a cherry wheat bread, one dense white roll and a slice if a soft white bread. It was served with a pickle aioli topped with shredded marinated carrots. Very light and fresh. We tried the empanadas (3 for $155) and they were made with chopped beef and lots of smoky paprika. It was almost too flavorful and great with the pickle aioli. The warm langoustine salad had only five langoustines (which were nicely seasoned and perfectly tender) but lots of arugula and frisée. The arugula was a bit overpowering versus the langoustines. It had 3 thin slices of grilled peach and 3 thin slices of avocado. It also had about 10 cherry tomatoes and two long homemade breadsticks. The salad was lightly dressed in a lemon vinaigrette. Very fresh, light salad. We also had the small ribeye with roasted potatoes topped with an eggplant spread and a small salad. All great flavors. We had asked for the ribeye to come without the cheese but they forgot. We took it off and ate it separately. Service was friendly and efficient. Certainly a modern version if an Argentinean steakhouse.

As others have stated, we had our best meal EVER by Chef Roux. My husband and I are still talking about the tuna on the half shell with almond creme and citrus. The food is creative and exquisite. The views are breathtaking-- our favorite vineyard experience. Let me tell you what makes this vineyard THE destination you can't miss-- they truly make you feel like family. It's a smaller vineyard owned by an Argentinian patriarch and run by his adult daughters. We met the family and they are so warm and truly care about their art. At the end of our visit, our rental car wouldn't start. It was an unfortunate situation-- especially considering we don't speak fluent Spanish. They called Hertz for us, the owner of the vineyard and one of his more mechanically inclined men spent about a half hour looking at our car. They also invited us back in the vineyard for wine and tea while we waited for a ride. Talk about INCREDIBLE hospitality! We visited multiple vineyards on our trip and felt like this was the best view, food and experience BEFORE the car issue. The way we were treated after our car broke down was the definition of incredible hospitality.

At first, we were going to get two milanesas, as well as an order of spaghetti and a salad to share between us, but our waiter strongly suggested against it, saying that the portions were quite large here. We took his word for it, and we opted for a single order of their eggplant milanesa along with the pasta and salad instead. We were glad we heeded his warning, though, because we saw that the eggplant milanesa itself was massive: it came with 3 cutlets total, and each cutlet was fairly hefty on its own. As for the actual food: I thought the eggplant milanesa here was absolutely delicious. It was beautifully coated and fried, so the breadcrumb coating was wonderfully crispy. The pasta and salad went really well with our selection as well. Prices were also really good here and we ended up leaving with our bellies full and our hearts content after having ultimately decided to come by here for dinner. I could definitely see myself coming back here, should I ever find myself in Mendoza again.

The medium size is enough for two. They also have every other imaginable piece of fried food - mozzarella sticks, chicken nuggets, potatoes, onion rings, langoustines etc...their tag line is "Comer Sin Culpa" or "Eat without guilt." Very appropriate for a menu that is 80% fried food. The calamari were extremely tender but the coating was a very light dusting of a breadcrumb and not the thin tempura style batter we love - still very good just not great. They offer combos and samplers - for example "The Immortal" is a cheddar stuffed double piece of breaded pounded veal on top of a pile of French fries topped with two fried eggs. It is is a heaping pile of food. The regular milanesas also come with a wedge of lemon (very important) and a bowl of fries or mashed potatoes. A salad or premium side dish is available for an extra 35 pesos ($1.85 US.) All of the fried meat options are available as a sandwich as well but then you really lose the flavor of the meat and it becomes about the toppings. Speaking of which we saw lots of folks order the covered fries - looked like a cheddar cheese sauce, onions and maybe strips of pepper- a bowlful for three at least.
