Perhaps that's why when I ordered the summer spinach salad - but got no spinach (I can't eat arugula and it was mostly arugula - with like 3 spinach leaves). We also were never made aware that there is a shortage of bananas (I love bananas). We were put in the wrong room the first night. We had no clue until we tried to charge our morning coffee to the room. Max (he was so busy and made delicious coffee) said a name that was most definitely not mine. It's a quiet, three-story space full of beautifully preserved Native American artifacts, Western art, and historic collections that feel both intimate and deeply respected. We came in just hoping to learn -- and left with a whole new appreciation for everything this place holds. Admission was $15 per adult, with a small senior discount for my mom. Tribal and Native members are welcomed in for free. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and clearly proud of the space. They even allowed my sister to bring her leashed dog inside, as long as he stayed calm -- a thoughtful, trusting gesture we really appreciated. Each floor has its own character: * Top floor: An open gallery walk-through with art from the early to mid-1900s, where they also host art classes and community events. It felt calm, creative, and inspiring. * Middle floor: The main museum, with 5-6 rooms filled with Native artifacts, cultural pieces, and a separate vault room for antique weapons. Every display was arranged with care and depth. * Bottom floor: A rest area with beautiful leather chairs, a warm rug, Western art on the walls, and the most spacious, well-kept bathrooms we've seen in any museum. It felt like a lounge, not a lower level. The overall vibe was calm and deeply respectful. While it was a little tricky to photograph some of the exhibits due to lighting glare on the glass cases, that didn't take away from the beauty and storytelling in the collections. Other notes: * They accept Apple Pay * The gift shop is beautiful, with thoughtfully chosen, high-quality items * Everything is clearly maintained with care, from the exhibits to the restrooms Going to museums like this and supporting organizations that protect and share cultural history keeps authenticity alive. It's humbling, beautiful, and grounding in a way that's hard to put into words. We built real memories here and left feeling connected, inspired, and grateful. It was built in 1923 which was am previously a church. Cool stuff! I recommended joining the OSF for one of their talks when you're here to see a show! We highly recommend it!

BEWARE!!!!! The owners of this venue are extremely overbearing! When we went the day before the…read morewedding to set things up, the owner Jim went in and moved tables around after we had set them up how the Bride wanted them. He then got after the Bride that I the Matron of Honor was telling him what to do. When I was only making sure that things were set up how she wanted them. Then today, the day of the wedding the owner Joan made the bride cry, her husband Jim was "touching" some of the female guest after being told not too. When he was confronted about it they threatened to call the sheriff and have us removed. Before the wedding took place Jim showed my dad pictures on his phone of other bridal parties standing on the bunk house porch in robes! He also was helping himself to the beer that the Bride and Groom paid for! When you pay $3000 for a venue you expect to be able to set things up and have what you want, not be told to change things. The lady Joan then pulled me outside in the middle of the reception to yell at me and tell me how I ruined everything. She didn't even apologize to the Bride that she made her cry!! When my parents were leaving Jim stopped them and told them we were rifraf and he will be raising his prices and won't rent to rifraf like us! It sucks that after the deposit was paid we started hearing all of the horror stories. Wish we would have heard them before hand. We will never recommend anyone to use this venue!
