This is a motel similar to La Mansion by form and function. It is located north of the Tijuana…read moreriver, adjacent to the Ready Lane leading back to the United States. This motel is lowkey... there is plenty of privacy here. Each accommodation includes a garage on the first floor, and the motel room on the second floor. This motel is a little raunchier than other motels. It's obvious what kind of business goes on here, which is legal in Mexico but not the US. I'd say half to two-thirds of folks who come here partake in it, and the rest stop by to sleep before crossing back to the US. Personally, I didn't like this motel too much. The décor was ok, but the comfort level was not. They have room service in this place, but it is nowhere near adequate. I ordered eggs with chilaquiles. The food came super late, and they put one egg instead of three, and the food was way too bland. This motel is great for some shuteye in a spur-of-the-moment trip to baja. But if you're looking for a more comfortable stay, whatever your reasons may be, there are better options out there.

Motel Premier - I was disappointed with the jacuzzi, it's more like a bathtub. It doesn't get that hot and the Jets are really weak.

Their prices are good and you won't feel ripped off. You will be happy. The rooms are a nice size and kept up. The maid service is great. The staff is super and can guide you if this is your first time to Tijuana. I love the place to eat here. It is just the best. They have traditional Mexican food which is outstanding and they also have great American food. We love their pancakes and eggs. Their tacos are great as is any fish dish. They have bottled water in the room, which is a must. Do not drink tap water anywhere in Tijuana. The location is great. It is within easy walking to many fun spots, including shopping. The rooms are super clean and although it can get loud outside, the inside is quiet and comfortable. It even smells great. You will love it. Have fun.

Prices have doubled since coming here first. Points went from 5k to 8k- please don't up it any more :). Guest profile has changed and with it more English speaking staff. US workers in scrubs moonlighting on the weekend, patients over from US for medical procedures, catering to this new clientele has made this hotel busier and a little more pricey than before. I wonder how they will compete when the Westin opens right next door? Location is truly perfect, it's an easy drive from the U.S. made easier now with the hotel and gastronomy zone signs as you cross the San Ysidro border. The hotel offers covered, gated underground parking for your car. It feels secure and I've never had any issues or incidents (touch wood) ever. Breakfast is included with your stay and has improved over the years, not that it was ever bad, they just offer a much larger and quality selection than before and restock often, again being more busy I imagine helps with that. Staff are always great , very helpful, and bilingual. If the bar ever looks unattended it's because they often double at reception. Just look to the front desk for assistance. For a Hyatt place - it's one of the best - that's why we keep coming back, better than the San Diego counterparts. Adrian, at the breakfast station is our favorite staff member. He's always so helpful, attentive and he deserves a shout out. I would love if they made Pozole on Saturday mornings - but alas it's a Sunday morning treat. Having it on Saturday too would be the icing on the cake. Something to work on: I enjoy a late checkout and appreciate not being disturbed. Do not disturb sign on the door doesn't mean they won't knock, or try to come in. Housekeeping should observe this request, even if they are being nice and checking to see if you need more towels. If you like clean, they are obsessively clean - occasionally the chemicals bother me in the lobby but I appreciate their attention to cleanliness. Overall solid 4 star rating.

Ok, so it was hard to pin point what the rating should be but I'll just do a list:…read more Pros: cheap, close to the airport, uber ride was only like 3 US dollars, and the employees were nice, oh and they serve food downstairs for a low price. Cons: only 1 water bottle given to you upon arriving, but you can call if you want them to bring you up some more (for a price), the biggest problem was that we were trying to sleep and for hours on end, there was construction or something going on either upstairs, or next door, because all we heard was banging. We were trying to sleep and couldn't, eventually so frustrated we just gave up trying to sleep and stayed up.

I felt it was clean once you walk into the hotel. Checking in was smooth, room was clean and spacious with a big screen tv, the bed was very comfortable and I had a good night sleep. I felt safe staying here one night. The hotel has a same gym with 2 treadmills, 2 bicycle machine and some arm machine. I tried the treadmill and felt that it was old, it made too much noise and felt like I was going to break it. The swimming pool is nice and water temperature was not too cold. They also have a jacuzzi but it was not heated and not open. It was dirty with tree leaves so I assume no one has used it? However this was in Otay, the other side of town and I was not aware of it. So it was kinda out of the way of where we were going for dinner. I would recommend people coming to this hotel.

The typical Best Western breakfast is offered which includes instant eggs, bacon, toast, & oatmeal. There is also free coffee in the lobby. Staff was very friendly. Downside for our stay was the fitness center opens later in the morning. This is a very high transient location for travelers that go in between San Diego & Mexico. Be careful at night. There were many sketchy people loitering around the gas station. SUGGESTION: Try to get a room on the backside of the complex. The front is busier, with many of the 18-wheeler tractor-trailor trucks parking in reverse, creating that loud beeping sound. Overall, if you're comfortable with this arrangement, for the price and convenience, I recommend staying here.

My cousin had our annual Christmas party at his house (we all take turns and I'm up next year,…read moregulp!) which is in CV. We weren't about to make the 130 mile trip back home late at night, so we booked this place (as did my brother-in-law and my other cousin's son (and his GF, hmmmm...) Close to the border in CV, this roadside motel sits inside the driveway to a gas station. Yup, I almost missed it when my nav told me to turn into the gas station. There's ample parking; almost empty when we checked in, though we were surprised that when we returned after our party that the lot was pretty full. The guy at the desk was really nice but wasn't too familiar with any local attractions (we went to Sea World the next day). We volunteered to bring Little Caesars pizza to the party and he did know where that was. In fact, just one exit south off the freeway you'll find a bunch of fast food restaurants and Little Caesars. The room rate was fair for a two queen bed room and a simple breakfast is included. The room was what you would expect from a roadside motel, fairly clean, super simple and basic. The location next to the freeway added to the endless din that made its way through the single pane windows. Partiers who drove the 4 miles across the border to party in TJ made a ton of noise up to 4am, but I won't complain. Just bc I have 4 kids doesn't mean I don't like to have a good time, too. When we packed up the truck to leave, we did smell smoke and it appeared that a homeless person was burning a small on the other side of the wall between the motel and the freeway (no doubt to warm up on a 48F morning... For a motel, it is what it is. However, my wife and I discovered that our kids are bougie since they were looking for the lobby, casino and restaurants... Or was that us???

Grubby and decaying "hotel" that should have been put out to pasture a long time ago. Do not ignore…read morethe warnings about this place's questionable hygiene. It is not hyperbole. I cannot stress enough that this is a motel not a hotel. Everything is run down, dirty, missing, broken, or smelly and it's near a loud highway so if you're a light sleeper this place will not do. To start, my room smells like a really strong cleaning agent with this undertone of vomit, and I can't tell whether it's the cleaning agent or actual vomit. The blackout shades are dirty and weathered, the room itself is dark no matter how many lights I've turned on and the bathroom is spooky. The bath tub drain doesn't plug and keeps popping up so you can't take a bath, and the shower never quite gets hot. I chose this place in part for the fitness center and pool, both of which are laughable. I don't know when or if the fitness center has ever been cleaned. The water cooler doesn't work. The advertised stair machine was non existent and both treadmills were broken. There was an elliptical working. The weight machines are really old and not well maintained, and the entire time there was this loud chirp from the smoke detector. The tiny pool has a nice sign stipulating that anyone who's had diarrhea in the last 14 days should not use the pool. That's always a good sign, right? (sarcasm) Wifi is spotty, access into the hotel requires driving through a dodgy gas station that's always piled with cars. This place is way understaffed I think. Why 2 stars instead of one? Cause my bed was actually comfortable and the breakfast was ok, even though my coffee cup leaked. For the price I can't say it was worth it. This "hotel" should be $67 a night, not $200
