When we moved to Minnesota last year, I was determined to find the best daycare for my youngest daughter around here. I thought I knew what I was looking for, having experienced quite a few daycares with my two older kids. After extensively researching and visiting many centers locally I had pretty much made up my mind for her to join a Montessori center when I just happened to see this bright looking building of Casa de Corazon (called Jardin Magico then) and decided to check it out. I was blown away the moment I set my foot inside. The bright, spacious, refreshing decor, plenty of space for kids to run around and the indoor play area were all just great. A big neat kitchen and pantry loaded with healthy organic food was a big bonus as they have their own chefs and prepare all food on site (something that was lacking at other centers). The teachers were warm and friendly and directors Ashley and Alex were so approachable and informative. While comparing the cost, I took into account that the cost of diapers (as they use their environment friendly cloth diapers) and food was already included in the monthly tuition. I was immediately sold out as this center totally surpassed my expectations. My daughter has now been coming here for last one year and loves this place. She has blossomed from a tiny toddler into a happy, independent little girl who interacts with her teachers in spanish and with us at home in english fairly well. During this one year, I have never regretted this decision even once. After the first week of transition, I have always seen her happy, playing, laughing even when at times she is the last kid to be picked up. She has received so much love and attention from her teachers, directors, kitchen & other staff. They all know her by name, always greet her cheerfully and she gets plenty of hugs throughout the day. I absolutely love that many times she comes home with cute & adorable hairstyles which just shows how much personal attention she gets there. I know I've found a happy & nurturing place for my little angel and will always be thankful to Casa. read more

My son has been attending Casa since May of 2014 and we are so incredibly happy we made the decision to take him there!! We have a friend who sent their son to one of the other locations and they highly recommended it so when we toured the Maple Grove location we loved it, far and above all other choices in the area!! My son is my first born so sending him off to daycare was very scary for me even though I knew I loved the place! The staff made the transition so easy!! I even work close enough that I was able to come and nurse him everyday during my lunch break! They let me use an extra room that I could keep dark and quiet and even play with him a bit which made it so much easier sending a newborn off to daycare! The entire staff is so amazing to my son, they all know him so well!! Even teachers for older students and kitchen or admin staff say hello to my son and just love him! It makes me feel like every one of them truly cares about all the kids there. I love that they use cloth diapers and organic food. The rooms are beautiful and bright and clean. Even though my son is only 20 months and speaks just a bit, he is speaking in both English and Spanish and I know he understands all the Spanish his teachers are speaking. It is such peace of mind knowing your child is being taken care of, loved, and taught well at his daycare. One of my most important criteria when picking out a daycare was that the staff did more than just made sure he was fed and changed and alive by the end of the day!! I cannot say enough good things about Casa de Corazon. We have been sending our son there for a year now and wouldn't dream of sending him elsewhere. Like a lot of people, we looked at daycare after daycare and everything was fine, but nothing felt right. The minute we walked out of Casa, we knew we had to enroll. We could not think of a better lifelong gift to give our son than a second language. However, Casa is so much more than just a place to learn Spanish. From the environmentally friendly choices to the healthy meals and snacks to the AMAZING staff, Casa has it all covered. Our son is thriving there and I give them credit for not only teaching him numbers, letters, colors, and shapes, but also good behavior and manners. The teachers (and all staff for that matter) are exceptionally sweet, smart, and caring, while also being firm and structured. It's a perfect balance. As far as the facility itself, Casa is immaculate. They are so clean and their classrooms are amazing. Color are bright, toys are high quality, and the indoor gym cannot compare to anything that other centers offer. Not to mention the outdoor play area is tailored to each age level separately. It would take me literally all day to express how much we love this place. I mean, who wouldn't love to listen to their child sing Spanish songs all night long....every night!! Casa is amazing and I wouldn't even consider sending my kids anywhere else. I truly feel like we get every penny out of what we pay for and it's so worth it. read more

My son recently started the preschool program at Casa de Corazon. Out of all the preschools we toured and directors we met with, I felt more at home with the staff here. The reception and lobby area are nice, bright and inviting. We toured many of the classrooms and I was amazed at how genuinely happy all of the children seemed (blew the other schools out of the water). The food is organic and made fresh on site. I even got a tour of the kitchen (only facility to show me that also...so I knew where my child's food was coming from). The classrooms were geared towards the age group of the children in them and are big enough to offer various stations within the classrooms. They also have both an indoor and outdoor play facility. My son has been welcomed with open arms from the moment we toured the school. The staff are amazing and treat each of the children as if they were their own. They speak Spanish to the students most of the time and it's amazing how quickly the children pick up what they are saying and respond in Spanish. My son is always full of plenty to say when I pick him up and he can't wait to go back in the morning. Daily "report" cards and weekly emails keep parents informed on what happened that day and what to expect in the coming days/weeks. Overall, I am beyond happy with our decision to send my son to this preschool. read more

After having concerns with the home daycare our son went to we started visiting centers, 8 in fact. Since I have prior experience as a pre-school teacher in a center I was very picky about what I wanted and needed in a daycare center. We spent a lot of time researching and asking questions as we needed to feel that we were moving our son to a safe and healthy center. Casa de Corazon was the last one we visited and the only one we didn't have something we were questioning. It was clean, colorful, served homemade healthy meals and snacks - in which a lot of it was organic and not full of preservatives/processed foods, and the employees were just as warm and inviting as the environment. Not to mention it had an indoor gym to help get those winter day wiggles out!! We have been with Casa de Corazon since April of 2014, just a couple of months after they opened. We continue to love and cherish our time there as our son grows and thrives in his Spanish abilities and education. We never question his safety or if he is getting what he needs to grow. We now have our 4 month old in the baby room and couldn't be happier. From the cloth diapers, strict feeding guidelines (breast milk storage and usage) and the love that he is given each day we know our boys are in the right place. read more

While pregnant with our second child my husband and I decided we wanted to send our oldest to a daycare/school part time (I stay home full time) so he could have interaction with other children and adults. I've heard a lot about the benefits of introducing a second language early on so we decided to tour Casa de Corazon. We toured in May 2014 and instantly knew it was the right choice. The school was incredibly clean, the food program was great, and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. My son started in Sept 2014 two days a week. The first few weeks were a tough transition but thankfully the teachers, staff and directors were very helpful. They comforted him, provided honest feedback to me when I emailed throughout the day, and helped all of us get through the tears! After over a year of attending two days a week my son speaks a lot of Spanish and I know he understands more than he says, too! We continue to love all the staff and are so thankful for the experience he is having at Casa de Corazon! He now runs in each morning and does not want to leave in the afternoon! From the moment I walked in the door when Casa had their first open house in March of 2014 I knew this was the place I wanted my daughter to attend. April 2014 we started her in the infant room as the first baby of the center. Now she is thriving in the the Toddler class. She uses both English and Spanish words for her communication with us. It is great since she can use her Spanish to speak with our relatives in Mexico. All of her teachers have been wonderful! They are so caring and devoted to the children.They keep the children engaged with such wonderful activities. Their building, an old library, is great! It is open and airy and so full of color. The gym is supplied with great activities for them to do when the weather doesn't allow them to play outside. Their outside play area is age appropriate. Their food menu is fantastic, made with local organic produce whenever possible. They are very good about dealing with food allergies and special requests. I cannot get over how wonderful an experience it is. I have complete peace of mind when I drop my daughter off, knowing that she is in the best care possible. read more

We love Casa de Corazon! My daughter started there about 3 months ago in the toddler room and we are so happy to have found such a wonderful place for her to spend her days! From the minute you walk in you can see the love and passion everyone in the center has for the care and education of children. The directors are very approachable and always around. The facility is clean, cutting edge, and beautiful. The teachers love the kids as their own. The indoor gym is a fabulous addition, especially for the cold Minnesota winters that make it tough to get toddlers outside all the time. I am grateful for this center. I appreciate their environmental attitudes and cultural curriculum. The food looks great and is organic as a bonus! In 3 short months the amount of Spanish our daughter has picked up is amazing, and I have never had any trouble communicating as a non-Spanish speaker. Our 4-yr-old has been attending Casa for over a year now. We are so happy with our experience. Prior to Casa, we were with a different center - and the two don't compare. From the moment you walk into Casa you are greeted daily, meals/snacks are freshly prepared (and organic) and interaction with teachers and administration is wonderful. We are so thankful for the outstanding teachers and curricula and the impact it has had on our daughter and her development. She is now in the pre-K class and will be more than prepared for kindergarten - socially, emotionally and academically. It is amazing to me how quickly she picked up Spanish and has conversations and sing songs at home with our older daughter. The love and care she has received from Casa shows and we are so thankful! We had been to two schools/daycare centers in Maple Grove before Casa de Corazon opened. Both of the prior schools were good but nothing in comparison to Casa. Not only do children get a bilingual education but they do so in a nurturing yet firm environment. The teachers are very caring both for the emotional as well as the developmental being of the children. When we leave our daughter there in the mornings I feel like I am leaving her with her second parents. We have been there for two years and love it. The caring environment extends to the meals, the way they care (and teach the children to care) for the environment, the activities they do to learn about the world and the way they are taught about many different cultures. Casa de Corazon - Maple Grove is the best of the best! We started our 21 month old son for 2 days/week, and they were understanding, flexible and supportive of his transition from being with grandma full-time. They even made special accommodations to help him through the transition. As soon as I bring him in crying in the morning, they calmly scoop him right up and snuggle and love on him, and he has stopped crying by the time I leave. Special shout out to his three amazing teachers, who are all so calm, patient and loving...Miss Jenny, Miss Isis and Miss Yvette! The directors and administrators are wonderful, as well! We have loved Casa de Corazon! We moved to Maple Grove 4 months ago and started our son in the Toddler classroom. We chose this school because of the obvious cleanliness, the big classrooms, indoor gym, healthy food options, and of course, Spanish. Since starting, we have been blown away by the teachers' sincere interest in our child's development. The curriculum is great and we feel that the teachers have a vested interest in our child. My son has been at Casa since he was 6 months old, and now is in preschool class. The staff and teachers are great and I feel confident my son is learning in a loving and nurturing environment.
