The manager told me that I had 30 days to pay off my loan for the car. However, that was a lie. When I received the loan notification in the mail, the bank was charging $4.27/day interest. Buying the car was great... not so much the car and the service after. March: bought my son a used car from a car dealership and purchased the extended warranty. May: Only 255 miles put on the car and the check engine light came on. Downstream oxygen sensor was replaced. Not covered under warranty. July: 125 miles later, check engine light comes back on. Air temperature sensor was replaced. Not covered under warranty. September: check engine light came back on for the same code in July (P2097), but went away after a few days and before the scheduled appointment, so we canceled the appointment. October 28: my son said it feels like the engine is miss-firing. We took the car in and... thay said it's the catalytic converter that needs to be replaced and its NOT covered under the warranty they sold me. I was also told they replaced a sensor right before I bought the car. Less than 900 miles on the car since we bought it. The problem was there when it was sold to me!!!! Decided to cut ties with CarVision in Trooper since the extended warranty they sold me doesn't cover anything and never got a call back from a sales manager after I left a message... but of course not until they charged me $161 for diagnostics. read more

I visited Car Vision in Maple Shade, NJ, hoping to find a specific car. While that car wasn't available, the sales rep was friendly and helpful, showing me several other options. Eventually, I test-drove an EV that seemed promising--even though it wasn't my top pick, I was open to it after some research. Here's where things went south. I was pre-approved at another dealership the day before for $25,000, so I knew what I could afford. I clearly told them my target monthly payment was around $375. After applying, they came back with a payment of $612. That number included nearly $4,800 in upsells--gap insurance, tire protection, and other add-ons I never asked for. I told them I wasn't interested in any extras and already had full coverage and AAA. They then told me the bank required I purchase one of the add-ons because of my "lack of history"--even though my credit shows two paid-off cars. That was a red flag. Why would a bank approve me for more money if I agreed to extras but not for less without them? It felt like a classic tactic: sell the payment, not the car. I asked to buy just the car, as advertised online, and was told they "can't sell at a loss"--even though I was paying the full listed price. After walking out, they called me back saying they could do $415/month. So clearly, all those "required" extras weren't actually required. Bottom line: be very careful here. They will try to upsell you aggressively, and in my experience, they were not transparent. Also, for anyone reading--you are not legally required to buy gap insurance. Don't let them pressure you. Do your research, double-check your numbers, and don't fall for the monthly payment trap. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Car Vision. read more

I got paperwork saying it was 100% fixed and it's not so eight days later it's still in the same spot hasn't been touched and they want me to tow it to Volkswagen and then I just have to hope that they pay for it since they haven't done anything else they said they're gonna do. I'm not believing a word they say and I just went down there and got all my stuff out of the car and the guy just Says it is your responsibility to get this car to Volkswagen and get it fixed $23,000 for two weeks and I bought the extended warranty, which meant absolutely nothing. If I would've went to yelp before I bought the car I would've never bought it and most of the cars that Car Vision has Are lemon Law cars that they get cheap from the auction and then they make a fortune off each one. The car is a 2023 Volkswagen ID. Four. I'm an Uber driver and I went out on a limb for this car so that I could make more money and not have to pay for gas every day now I don't know how this ends, but I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure everyone knows what happened. In eight days I have already lost $600 because I was getting a bonus for forgetting an electric car which I ran out of time to get that bonus because I don't have the car plus I'm back to using a regular car and I make less now and all he could say to me is I have to take it to the dealership and that it is still my car meanwhile, it's sitting in the same spot. It was eight days ago And the funny part is it could be something dumb that takes three minutes to fix. They have no idea and they don't try because they're so busy because all these lemon Law cars come back. There's a waiting list for loaner cars. I don't know how anybody could come to the dealership. Plus, I've been on the phone for eight days with different people from the company trying to make some headway which I never did. I was given phone numbers that didn't work. I was put on hold for 20 to 30 minutes at a time and then the last thing that happened was the manager, Keith Calls me and says Service is going to call you be ready 30 minutes later I call him back and tell him that's it. I didn't have any problems with them , I got 3 cars from them at 2 different times. I purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee , it was ok I did have to take it back several times for noises , that they never found n I still have the noises. The air flow when you cut the heat on makes some noise as well. They never found the problem. I don't drive this car that much , however I'm gonna take it to the dealers. If it gets on my nerves. The x-2 I never had to take it back , it had low miles n still has low miles.One day I got in the car and my drivers side front was wet. I took it to the dealer , made several trips , spent several thousands n no body new for sure were it was coming from. For sure they did several water test. Replace several things.one of recommendations was the water is coming from the door , n they took the door panel off n also told me that my car was hit on that side, n it had been painted n that was why the water was coming in. They didn't never reported to carfax.. The dodge Ram I purchased never had any issues,other than some random noise that it would make sometimes when you cut the heat on, then it would stop. But my over all experience was ok! However my daughter purchased a Tesla from there dealership in New Jersey, it was horriable, the car had issues from day one , you never want to think there's a real problem from day one . (BUYER BEWARE) My son went here with his friend to see a car, he got there and no one was ready to help him, short staffed they said, even tho he had an appointment. It also smelled bad too, anyway I did the test drive and it had a steering problem. Needs an alignment for sure and possibly a control arm. We go in and they off him a bad deal and keep trying to get him to make a big down payment. He told them he has a budget and was willing to put down money, but not the amount they wanted him to do. Which by the way would have saved him only a few buck a month off the payments. Total rip off. He decided he didn't want to spend the amount and they offered him other cars to look at. The guy was trying hard to get a sale out of my son and kept showing him random cars, like he didn't even try and give him enough time to look for something and read about it. He looked at a few and found something better then what he was looking at. He did the test drive, I sat in the back when he did it. He liked the car very much, same stuff as the other one, car was very dirty. I did notice the fuel was on e and the check engine light was on. Also the miles didn't add up, to what they showed on the car fax, more on that in a minute. As he is driving it it sounds awful, like their is an engine problem, so I look at the car fax as he's driving and I see that the car has structure damage, and the odometer has been rolled back. We got back and they offered him a even worst deal. So I told him to leave, do not buy a car like that, especially when the car fax shows shady stuff like that. After we got home I was curious and looked up the dealership and found out they have been investigated and sued. Just looked it up and see for yourself. I had found a vehicle I was looking for on their lot using cars.com. I had called them a few times and texted them about this car. I advised them I live out of state and would like to purchase and have it transported. They advised they will not transport and I would need to come in to make the purchase. Advised I don't want to make a wasted trip to PA to find out the car I was going to buy is gone. They will not take a deposit for the car to keep it on the lot until I fly there which I told them it would be in two days. I never had to go through this much to just buy a car. I am writing to address several charges on the contract I signed with carvision that I did not agree to: * $1,199 for GAP insurance * $1,500 for tire and wheel service * $500 for theft deterrent protection * $700 for preparation and processing of license, registration, and title * $300 for preparation and processing of other documents * $212.97 for registration and title It was late in the evening, and I was the last customer at the dealership, where I felt pressured to hurry and sign the documents by Letisha and everyone else looking at me waiting to go home . I also specifically requested not to have the dealership handle the registration as I wanted my license plate to be transferred. Letisha informed me that it would cost only $9 extra, which turned out to be incorrect. I have attempted to reach out to her for clarification but have not received a response yet. She also told me that the total was $28,820.67 NOT $40,930,68. I also did not get a car fax from Angel after I asked him. He kept distracting me with showing me luxury clones on his computer & and talking about his upcoming trip to Dominican Republic. I told him that I have been up since 4 o'clock in the morning for work and that I just drove three hours to get there and my mind wasn't 100% and I feel like he took advantage of that. I found out the car was in an accident. Had I known this prior I wouldn't have made the purchase. I was also told I didn't have to put any money down. I was swindled for $2000 down. I also noticed a statement in the contract indicating that "purchase of contract is not required in order to purchase or lease a vehicle. I hope that we can resolve this issue without getting my attorney and the courts involved in this matter. I hope that we can come to a mutual agreement that benefits us both. Right before we were going to finalize the deal I was informed that there was a recall on the vehicle that needed to be fixed and they said it would be ready by Friday. I regret making a purchase from this dealership. I purchased my car in April of 2021 and to this very day I have NOT received my plates. I have called and emailed them a dozen of times and NOTHING. I live in Maryland and drove 2 hours to PA To purchase a 2015 Hyundai Sonata 2.0T Limited Turbo from them in March (2021) for months and months on end I have been trying to find out what is going on with my registration and tags. I have sent them all the proper paperwork (title form, Maryland car inspection) and when I purchased the car I paid them to process all the paperwork for me so that they could just send me my tags and registration. My 60-Day transport tags are expired and the state of emergency in Maryland allowing tags to be expired has been lifted and I cannot get temp tags here without the title work and registration. I keep calling and the customer service either doesn't answer the phone or they transfer me to the titles department who NEVER answers the phone. Then they told me that they filed an "escalation ticket" to get a manager to contact me about this situation. I send them email after email (I even emailed the titles department titles@carvision.com and no one has ever responded) I am sick and tired of this situation. I just want my tags and registration. I think they have nice cars and that they take very well care of them but this titles situation is not something I would recommend to anyone looking to buy a car from them, especially out of state. Please go somewhere else if you do not want to be without MAJOR documentation that your car needs for months. read more

I found a vehicle on their website that I was committed to purchase. I sent an email inquire in which I received a timely response as well as had rather decent communication from the sales folks, responding to both my calls and text. Based on that, I would say they have good customer service, or at least responding to would be customers. The reason for my two star rating is, despite the fact I have a driver ready to pick up the vehicle from them and ship it to me, paid for out of my pocket, they simply will not accommodate any online sales. They told me I must travel to them in person to sign the paperwork! I find this quite ridiculous as almost every car sales company, offers online sales and shipping. There are tons of public notaries that provide such services for validating, legal signatures and contracts. In fact, I have not bought six houses out of state without ever setting foot inside those houses or mortgage centers. Considering all of the reviews online I have little to no faith that when I would show up, having to book a flight, and travel many hours away they actually have the vehicle or honor of the pricing mentioned is quite questionable. So they have lost a guaranteed sale and a would be repeat customer as I am looking to buy at least two if not three vehicles in the next year! read more

They have a lot of cars (600+) and they all look nice so you are bound to end up here at some point if you buy only used cars like I do. They have entry level first line salesman and pushy slick managers, just like a new car dealer. The car that brought us in was listed as local, but it was an hour away. They told it would be 45m but instead it took 3 hours. About 15m after we drove it Mr. Slick Gen Mgr comes over and looks at his watch and asks us to move it along. I was questioning the document fee which they argued was state mandated at $467. I asked for proof but they couldn't provide it. I finally caved because my wife really liked the car, and then went home and looked it up and learned the maximum is state mandated, not the exact amount. After digging into old records I discovered I've never really question the document fee before because it was always much much lower, as low as $59! Then to top it all off, they "forgot" to change the bad headlight that they promised to replace. Ugh! STAY AWAY! read more

The post buying experience is torture. Used car I bought 8 month ago has had the following issues in 8 month: 1. 2 of the run flat tires were bad upon sale with bulges in the sidewalls. I did not realize that meant the tires were bad until the BMW dealership notified me 2. Water pump failed and had to be replaced 3. Driver-side fog light became dislodged. Mechanic inspected and found the entire front end was after market and installed poorly. Had to plastic weld back together / in place 4. Power steering just failed, trying to get replaced. Took it to my mechanic on all but the third issue as that issue is $3000.00+. Should be under warranty, however, they've had my car 13 days at this point and it's not repaired. They don't update you, they don't call back. They are absolutely horrendous. You can never speak with anyone that knows anything, just a random "they'll call you back". I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE! read more
