Carvel - still the best. Simply large vanilla cone with sprinkles. It was very large, very vanilla, very creamy. Place was clean. Employees were pleasant. Brought home a pack of flying saucers for my granddaughter (yeah, right!). To the next generation of Carvel devotees. Can't wait till the next special occasion. Never miss an excuse to bring home a Carvel cake. read more

The worst marvel I ever been too. They dont know how to make a dasher. No air-conditioned place by the time they made my dasher it melted its 103.00 degrees out hit inside no one really speaks English and rip offs too!! Never going back there. read more

Beware- they overcharge on their sundaes and you only find out once you are about to pay. The staff are rude when you inform them of the higher price at this location compared to the others. I would avoid this location for the wrongful pricing and overcharging. There's also no seating and it's hard to move around in there. read more

Kids serving is $4.99 compared to $3.29 every other Carvel (and the serving size is more). Sorry the landlord is forcing you guys to raise prices but even though I Iive walking distance,. I drive to Hicksville location for Carvel just for the point. I bet if the prices were reasonable, you'd guys would have much more business. imo read more

This place has some solid soft serve although their special flavor machine has been out of commission for like a month now. Apple pie was a delicious flavor with cinnamon hints. The staff is always courteous. Would be nice to have somewhere to sit and enjoy the frozen concoctions, but taking it to go suffices for now The parking lot is nice to have but watch out for that concrete pole! If you go on Wednesday the soft serve is BOGO! That's the best time to get your fix read more

Carvel - Vanilla - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Carle Place, New York

I come here frequently to buy bonnets for my mom. I was a fan of the Oreo Lil Rounders until they stopped making them. Today I grabbed a bunch of bonnets ($19.95) and asked for my card to be stamped. The cashier refused informing methat cards are only stamped for purchases over $20.00. (I never noticed, they just stamped the card in the past.) I had been averaging over $30 per visit. I don't always check so today was only my 10th check-in here. I am sure that I have spent over $400 here. Why nickel and dime me? I'll keep coming back, I was just a little surprised today. read more

Wow! Talk about a 180. For quite a few years this Carvel, minus the occasional stiff staff attitude and screwed up parking lot, had great product. Service was quick and the items tasted fresh. I've the last few months it has all changed for the worse. They serve shakes and carvelanche in the wrong cups and have cheapened out on the size even though the prices remain high. Items like parfaits and Flying Saucers are scarce and the staff is as rude as they are incompetent. The result are angry customers and long lines. I would strongly advice against dealing with this Carvel at this time. The one star is given because the product they do have in stock seems to still pass the quality test but what's the point when everything leading up to it is filled with frustration and compromise. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. On the hottest day of the year, there is no air conditioning and some of the ice cream buckets are already melting. Also no good option for soft serve and the women behind the counters are not friendly at all. Way overpriced for Carvel. Only reason why I think that they are in business is because there's no other place for ice cream around here. read more

Now super overpriced. Gift card machine has been broken for YEARS. They refuse to fix it and/or lie and don't want to accept gift cards.

Excellent ice cream and soft serve. Very friendly staff, good choice of flavors. Open till 10pm. Has ample parking.

CARVEL! An old time favorite of mine and now walking distance from home. It's going to be hard to resist going everyday...This brings back many happy childhood memories. The modern Carvel now has a few more ice cream flavors like mint, one of my favorites. The cones have a plastic cover so that the ice cream doesn't drip. I thought that was a great improvement. This location has a large display of take-out items like ice cream birthday cakes and sandwiches. They also have a wide selection of traditional hard ice cream flavors. It was nice that all the calories for each item are posted. Because of this, I ordered a small, but the small was huge! There is also a drive up window for your convenience. That comes in handy when you are in a rush. This location is open year round. The service was fast and courteous. I always appreciate that! read more

We have been coming to this Carvel since I was a child and it changed management a few years ago and ever since then we've had issues with the customer service. They made my order completely wrong a few weeks ago and the manager refused to give me a refund or replace it because it was taken out of the store (my husband brought it home and it was so egregiously wrong I had to bring it back immediately). After going back and forth with the manger and him citing every reason he could think of to not replace it, a patron who was also in the store got frustrated on my behalf and told him to just remake it. Finally then did he replace it [without an apology.] It's just plain bad customer service. You make the order wrong, just replace it. It cost like 25 cents to remake but their bad attitude and refusal to do so just lost them a lifelong customer. I've heard good things about the Williston Park Carvel and will be taking my business there in the future. read more

This place is walking distance from my house and is a good little ice cream shop.. nothing special but good. They do offer 2 for 1 soft serve on wednesdays which is when we usually go....I miss the biscoff soft serve...it was really good. The pumpkin is good but not quite the biscoff...this place has been a must with my wifes pregnancy cravings ;) read more

This is the closest carvel to us and we love coming here. The staff is so nice. We walk here

Maintains the Carvel quality. Always good ice cream. Great shakes, sundaes, cones, flying saucers, etc. Parking isn't great on a busy summer day but overall it's good. read more

Had the little thanksgiving turkeys. You couldn't taste any meat - just vanilla and chocolate ice cream with frosting. Amazing. Only problem is whales are endangered and these guys think it's okay to freeze and slice them up as an "ice cream" treat. Oh well. I'll just boycott that specific cake. Another gripe is they won't pump the soft serve directly into your mouth from the machine - I don't like cups or cones. Dad jokes! I'll be here all week - tip your waitress. Otherwise great people at this location. read more

Service with an unwelcoming attitude!! We just left this location around 9:20 pm & upon arrival around 9:15, the staff was cleaning up for the night. The store hours state they close at 10 pm; however when we entered the store, the oriental guy looked at my family and I as if we were inconveniencing them. I also noticed when another female customer came in after us, the oriental guy looked at her the same way & murmured words that I couldn't hear but his facial expressions revealed he was NOT pleased he had another customer. In fact, he even murmured words of displeasure when the lady came in. If you don't want to serve people after 9 pm, you should change your business hours to close at 9. This is not the worse customer service I've encountered but it ranks in the top 5. read more

Justin did a terrific job decorating a cake for my daughter. He was very helpful with giving me information about the different cake sizes to make sure I picked out the one I needed. He was very personable and efficient. He made my daughter's cake look beautiful and I'll definitely return to this Carvel the next time I need an ice cream cake. Great job, Justin! read more

Stop by on my way to the post office. Happy they had both my favorite soft serve flavors, mint and pistachio. I got a jr. Cone of the 2 mixed. My bf got a vanilla cookie dough carvellanche. It was clean, large, send to carry everything on the menu, and the staff was super friendly. Better than the carvel near me. read more

OMG the half baked flavored ice cream!!! So so good, plus the owner, is such a sweetheart. On cheat days we always stop in.

not the biggest fan of carvel but that's just my taste. my grandmother loves this place. most of the time I go here when Hollow creamery is closed because it's right down the block. read more

I love this place!! I always make sure to stop here to enjoy some great ice cream. They have very good prices and great deals everyday. You can never go wrong with some classic soft serve ice cream as it taste great. Make sure you also try their shakes and other ice cream drinks. They really make sure you have something great to taste. The carvelanches are also very good. Also if you need an ice cream, they make great ones with different shapes and designs. If you are in the area, I would highly recommend taking a stop here, no matter the time of year if they didn't get new ownership. read more

Jenny that use to run the store was lit and was 5 stars. Owners changed and it's not the same. Now it's just any old Carvel store, pretty basic if you look down to the fridges and they have little to stock. read more

Best carvel ever! The ice cream is always delicious and fresh. Shout out to the staff, especially the tall guy with the longer hair and the hat. He's always in such a great mood every single time I'm there. Amazing customer service! read more

Carvel is always my go to spot when im craving ice cream , the reese's peanut butter cup dasher is made to perfection !

Carvel is one of my favorite places. They're ice cream is so good, it's also cheap. They always make everything good. It's honestly perfect there. They also got a bench outside so you can eat outside if you feel like it. read more

This Carvel used to be really good. But apparently the husband took over. The lady who I used to see in there would always pack the sundaes for kids. Now the guy barely wants to give you a scoop and is very cheap with the toppings. So what used to be 20 dollars for 3 people and a ton of ice cream. Now you feel as is you're paying an arm and leg for very ice cream. I'm going to have to start going to the one on old country road. You get more bang for your buck. read more

Okay so before I start off my review, let me tell you what happened to me before I came to carvel. So before coming here, I went to Friendly's and had the worst experience ever. It took nearly an hour just for I could get a simple sundae. After waiting nearly an hour, I get in my car, get my sundae out the bag and it's the completely wrong order, not what I ordered at all. After that I just gave up on Friendly's and came straight here. I went in and was out with my ice cream in 10 minutes. Carvel, you are truly a life saver. read more
