I ended up liking today's craft of envelope lining so much that I actually bought the stencil kits for both the linings and the envelopes themselves. The staff here are always super friendly and helpful without feeling like they're pressuring you to make a purchase so you can genuinely spend a good chunk of time here just browsing to your heart's content :)

So a few days…read moreago, I had went to Gamestop and ended up leaving my phone on the counter and it ended up getting snatched by some dude who was standing behind me in line. After I found out that I had left it there I called and then rushed back there ASAP ‍ Like i Just paid my phone bill off and everything and im with sprint so id have to come out of pocket JUST to get another phone and i absolutely refuse to do ts‍ So when i got there they was ON IT. I mean, they check the security cameras , called the police ‍, kept me from crying (because lord knows i was this close to crying). Even though it was 45% my fault. They did everything they could to help me get my life back. Im not lying when i say that they're a beautiful group of people and Gamestop needs to employ more people like them. In the past, they've charged way more than the suggested MSRP. The supplies, clothing, and Knick-knacks are all so overpriced to the point where it reminds me of a hospital gift shop. It feels like they're taking advantage of students that live on campus or don't have many options for buying UST merch. I understand the business model of charging more for connivence, but this is ridiculous. Service is hit or miss. It's all student who work, so that's to be expected. During the beginning and end of the semester, there's a long line to buy/return textbooks, so plan accordingly. They also have a drop box for rental returns which really helped the chaos this year. Totally exceeded my expectations. Wow. Andy knows what he's doing, and helped me pick out the best frame and mat for a beloved print. (And, he nailed the combo on the first try. I asked to look at some other options and it was clear that they weren't right.) He answered all my questions and helped me understand the options. I learned a lot! I guess that's what they call customer service. Who knew??! The only other comparison I have for framing is a large craft store where I've had a few things framed, and they weren't nearly as helpful or knowledgeable - and they cost more. I was determined to not go back to the craft store for this job, and somehow lucked out and found Art and Frame World in my own backyard! So, now I (and my family and friends) have a framing place!

Andy is amazing!! I should have written this review when I got 3 wine map posters framed last…read moreyear, but now I have to write a review because of the continued customer service Andy provided. A year ago, he was very helpful in selecting the frame, timeline was reasonable, and price was fantastic. I was expecting to pay a lot more than I did! Fast forward a year and Andy continued his wonderful customer service. The 3 framed pictures were placed on a wall in our basement. It turns out the humidity was not great down there so the prints started to ripple under the glass. I took them to Andy to see if he could fix them. I was ready to pay to have them fixed since it was my fault, but he insisted that I wouldn't be paying anything. He said, "This is what we do." Andy's team took the frames apart and tried flatting them. Unfortunately, they are too rippled, but I appreciate Andy's willingness to help me try to fix them. Big lessons learned: 1) watch the humidity level in your basement if you have framed prints and 2) ANDY ROCKS!! I two thumbs up. I highly recommend Andy and his shop. Lots of selection, great prices, fantastic service. He is in fact MN nice!!!

I have worked with other awards vendors and have paid far more for products I would now be embarrassed to hand out after seeing the quality of every item at Awards by Hammond. I was in their showroom one day placing an order when I witnessed an aggressive customer. I saw the negative review that was posted here and can't help but think it was the same instance I witnessed. The customer (about 6' 4") was extremely rude to the Awards by Hammond employee (about 5' 9") and got in his face saying his order isn't what he wanted, and appeared to be getting aggressive. The customer asked for the paperwork, grabbing it from the employee and holding it up in his raised arm as if he was going to throw it at or hit the employee with it. I was surprised at how calm the employee remained and I was appalled at the customer's behavior. I watched the employee give the customer his money back...all of this over $20!!! When the extremely rude customer left, I walked over to the employee and he apologized to me. I saw the plate that the customer refused and it was gorgeous! I couldn't believe the company was only charging $20 for it. There are two sides to every story, and in this case I would give Awards by Hammond 5 stars for each and every experience I have had with them and have witnessed others having.
