No, of course not. Mr. Trinidad is anything but evil. A sound savior, an aural conductor, a king selector. Years back, I was lucky enough to start listening to Chocolate City when it was on five days a week [clenching fists, dropping to knees]. Still, that was barely enough time to deliver all the good shit he had up his sleeve. Five luxuriously sweet nights composed of the likes of D'Angelo, Jill Scott, Black Star, Marvin Gaye, Common, Fela and Femi Kuti, Les Nubians, old jazz and soul cuts, solid hip hop that no one else played, house music, Latin rhythms, unsigned and local talent, everything on the positive tip. My favorite was when he would play oft-sampled original songs. So enlightening and edjumacational. The man can also relate to guests like no other. Genuine like smiling eyes, warm like cocoa, intimate like he's sitting inside my own damn personal stereo. This incredible show was my first introduction to KCRW. The point of no return. As a millennium, I didn't even know that Television was in Black & White. But I do remember, when I've watched my favorite shows such as The X files, The Lone Ranger, Charlie Angels or sometimes with my family, I've to watch the boring soaps like Dynasty. The television culture is more than just a show. It's a family gathering, learning identities, and also primarial source for information back in my childhood. IMHO, this could better than bombarded by social media (s). What is unfolding would make you very happy in Saban Media Center. According to Emmy's official website, this theater has been celebrating 70 year of Television. As a member of Sag-Aftra & Television Academy, I'd be honored to attend events here. The Wolf Theater at Saban Media can host 600 seats for the screening event. The breeze around the garden and the vibe is so serendipitous in the TV academy. The Wolf Theater is named after Dick and Noelle Wolf. This is one of my favorite places in North Hollywood and the invitation only for the industry people. Though, mostly you could bring your significant other from time to time depending on the event. There's plenty of up-scale restaurants around Noho if you've done and grab a bite later on. But Dive Bars? Here it's tips; The Brickyard, Risky Business (my fav) and even El Tejano, the spicy mexican night bar or if you're looking for action, The Bullet Bar is quite well-known for LGBTQA+. You don't need to go down Studio City or Toluca Lake. Literally 5 minute walk from TV Academy. The NoHo becomes hit for youngsters and glad that TV Academy made the right choice to called home here in North Hollywood. This Saban Media Center is exquisite and this is your time to shine how sophisticated you can be with your plus one. I'll close out with true appreciation for Saban Media Center at Television Academy and many more to come. See you 2025 ! ! !

I went here recently for a screening, and the theater they have is beautiful. It's large, the seats are very comfortable. Very, very nice. They have screenings, talkbacks, and plenty of other fun industry things that go on here. The exterior of the complex is also quite nice. It almost makes you forget that you're in the heart of North Hollywood. There is also a parking garage, which offers a discounted rate if you are attending a screening (it is also open to the public). I had a lovely time visiting here and hope I can be back soon.

I can go on & on. I was greeted with respect and support from the staff here & the producer's meet me as I was headed to my dressing room and filled me in on the do's & don't during the interview and gave me a heads up on the questions that would be asked & I informed them that my personal life is off limits. The interview was outstanding now we'll see what was cut & edited by the time it airs

It was a grueling open-ocean race dominated historically by only men. But in 1989, a young woman put together an all-female crew to challenge that. The Document invited hundreds of KCRW members to attend, so I RSVP'd. And I'm glad that I did. This film is inspirational. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/writers-guild-theater-beverly-hills-2?select=mGn0PJVXuasfx_E_5a1E9g I am not a woman and I don't sail, yet even I was inspired by this story. These women sailed the sea for about six months against tremendous odds (including the Southern Ocean off the coast of Antartica). Amazing! That inspires me to challenge myself much more in my life as a result. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/writers-guild-theater-beverly-hills-2?select=LMNKf0eXIqhQnlkXLtAKaw There were several food trucks and complimentary wine followed by a Q&A with the yacht captain Tracy Edwards and "Maiden" director Alex Holmes. I watched the entire DVD TV series and three of the DVDs didn't have English Subtitles! What did I do? I called mvibo first, but to my dismay-I left countless messages for the mvibo department to return my phone call from August until December 2011. I waited FOUR months for someone to return my phone call and NOBODY from mvibo EVER returned my phone call! I had business errands in LA, so I decided, I'd bring my DVDs and exchange at mvibo the bogus DVDs for the NEW DVDs possessing English subtitles. Anyway, this KBS building appeared dishevelled, severely out-dated, and riding inside the elevator was sketchy. I visited the mvibo department, but the Korean Dudes who worked in the DVD replicating department spoke very little English, so I had to speak in Korean=Hangugo ! It's amazing I could speak enough Korean for the Dudes to understand my problem I experienced with the DVDs I purchased online! So, the mvibo/KBS America Dudes said they'd send me another set. I received my DVDs on January 3, 2012. I haven't played the new DVD set, so I'll let you know if the new DVDs has English subtitles or not.
