Ok, the only reason I went in this store was because I didn't want to spend $300 on the pair of Pedro Munoz shoes I had just seen in the store window across the street....
uh,- and after sticker-shock at the prices in Cartier,- I promptly went across the street and bought those shoes!!!
The store is elegant and well appointed, the staff friendly and courteous but since price tags are discreetly hidden, you are f-o-r-c-e-d to ask a salesperson to pull the piece out before you can see the price! ("dirty pool" in my book)
Then, once they have placed the jewelry, watch, etc. on top of the counter you are obliged (out of courtesy) to listen to the sales pitch and since they don't have a medical staff on board they can't perform a lobotomy which would be necessary for me to even have the desire to pay $30,000 for a freakin watch!!! read more
