Cartier has lost a lifelong customer. I've overlooked past disappointments, but I refuse to accept subpar service--especially from a so-called "luxury" brand. Strike 1: I went to purchase a Clou bracelet on a day my usual Sales Associate (SA) wasn't available. Out of courtesy, I let her know and was assigned a different SA. When discussing my options, he insisted I buy the larger version, claiming the smaller one was "hollow" and "scratches, bends, and dents easily." He even added, "You don't want to look like you're wearing a child's bracelet. They're cheap and should be bought for a quinceañera." Unbeknownst to him, my mother--sitting beside me--was wearing that exact bracelet. Not because she couldn't afford the larger one, but because she preferred the fit. We both dismissed his condescending remarks and I bought the bracelet anyway. An hour later, I decided to exchange it for a smaller size--something we had extensively discussed in-store. Strike 2: I coordinated the exchange with my usual SA and confirmed a day and time via text. At 3:58 PM, she messaged me saying she was taking a lunch break for an hour. At 4:02 PM, standing outside the store, I texted her. No response. I followed up, asking if another SA could assist me. Still nothing. Frustrated, I walked into the store and explained the situation. The associates went to the back and eventually brought my SA out--who claimed our appointment was at 3 PM. Confused (since her text confirmed 4 PM), I ignored the miscommunication and focused on: 1. Exchanging the bracelet 2. Discussing resizing for three LOVE bracelets 3. Purchasing another item Strike 3: After trying on different sizes for the LOVE bracelets and confirming what I wanted, my SA took my Clou bracelet to process the exchange. Several minutes later, she returned to say they couldn't exchange it due to "micro scratches and a dent." She even offered to show me under a microscope. This was both shocking and infuriating. Just two days prior, the SA assured me this bracelet doesn't scratch or dent. More importantly, it was not brand new when I purchased it--I had tried it on in-store (AFTER someone else did), stacked it with other bracelets, and deliberated before making a decision. While deliberating, the bracelet was put back into the drawer. So, was it scratched before I put it on? Did it happen in-store? Did I get the same bracelet I'd tried on or was an already defected bracelet pulled? Who's to say? If it was already scratched before I left, was that my fault? Regardless, I had worn the bracelet for just one hour before deciding to exchange it (not return it). Denying an exchange under these circumstances was unreasonable and unacceptable. Frustrated and disappointed, I politely told my SA I wouldn't be doing business with them anymore. I wouldn't be sending my other bracelets back for resizing (which costs a staggering 40% of the bracelet's price), and I wouldn't be purchasing anything else. Instead, they were losing me as a customer. She assured me a manager would reach out. They never did. The Final Straw: This wasn't my first poor experience with Cartier. A diamond fell out of my LOVE bracelet--a brand that prides itself on "nearly indestructible" pieces. Despite their claims that the bracelet never needs to be removed, I had to pay for a new diamond and service charges. Why Am I Sharing This? Customer service should be the foundation of any brand--especially a luxury one. Poor service shouldn't be ignored, and if social media is the only way to hold brands accountable, so be it. So, what am I doing? I'm selling my watch, four bracelets, and three rings and reinvesting in a brand that: * Values customer relationships * Trains SAs to respect all products--not just the ones they deem superior * Invests in quality craftsmanship Cartier has lost me as a lifelong customer, and I hope this post encourages others to rethink where they spend their money. I refuse to be a walking advertisement for a brand that doesn't align with my values. No marketing campaign will ever be more powerful than real customer experiences. We should demand better and no longer tolerate subpar treatment. It's time to put brands on notice. Ps - I reached out to Cartier to share this feedback. They never responded. I have been wanting this watch for years. I could have gone into a luxury jewelry store where I live, but wanted the Cartier experience. Life is all about experiences! I was in South Florida for the holidays and staying minutes from the Town Center Boca Raton. It was the day after Christmas and I did expect to wait. I waited for 5 years so a few minutes was not a big deal. I was told to wait by the watches and someone would be happy to assist. All of the watches in the case were automatic and as much as they are more popular, I wanted one with a battery. It would be worn randomly and on special occasions. I braced myself for them not having the Ronde Must de Cartier in stock. After waiting a few minutes, Liz comes to greets me. I told exactly what I wanted and did not see it in the case. She pulls out her keys, unlocks the drawer, and viola, there it was, my baby!! She put it on my wrist and I looked at it and said, "hello lover!" She laughed and knew exactly where this quote came from! From that point on, I knew this would be an experience and not just a purchase. We finished up, I was promptly seated, and she went to the back to get my baby. My experience was flawless. Liz talked to me about the watch, Cartier, and we shared snippets of our lives. I noticed as my eyes worked the showroom, everyone was receiving the same high quality service I received. It didn't matter if you were spending a few thousand or ten thousand. If I could give them zero stars I would. My boyfriend bought me a ring and it was a little big so we went in to see if I could exchange it for a smaller size. The man who helped us was no help and one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. He spoke down to us and talked to us as if we didnt belong there it was disgusting. He basically told me there was nothing they could do and its fine. Didnt explain anything to me or give me any options. I came back an hour later and asked to speak to a manager. The manager was very nice and apologized on the man's behalf. My mother was so upset how they treated us and called in to report the man also and they said the regional manager was coming in that day because of the situation and they were going to investigate. When the regional manager came in, they called my mom and she told her the same thing. They asked for my boyfriends account as they were going to send him something to apologize for the situation. They never sent anything and the man who treated us so poorly is still working there. I will never shop at this location ever again. But this 3 star review is based on the 1 star service I received at Cartier today. My mom and I walked into Cartier because she wanted to show me a wedding band that she thought would be nice for my fiance. We asked a sales associate by the name of Evanne (usually I tend not to name people in my negative reviews, but this woman was so atrocious that I can't help but tell all of yelpland) if she could show us a few different wedding bands. She asked me when I was getting married and I told her June. She then responded that it was way too early for me to be looking and absolutely refused to show us the wedding bands. She said she would give us a book to look at, but that was it. Ummmm, what.....looks like someone needs a bit of holiday cheer. She then walked away from us, which we assumed was to get a book and never came back. In the words of Julia Roberts....big mistake, HUGE! Thankfully the Assistant Manager of the store, Fred, restored my faith in Cartier when we then asked him to see a few bands and he was more than happy to show them to us. He also showed us a gorgeous pair of diamond and pearl earrings that my mom was drooling over for $25,000. Crazy that people actually spend that much money on a piece of jewelry, but if you're going to spend it these earrings are the way to go... Worst customer service. My husband needed his watch serviced. They said during COVID they would have customer service get in touch with us. They sent us a box via Fed Ex and a return label to send the watch to them. There was no other paperwork in the box. Finally after several weeks we called to see what was going on. They said "oh we didn't have your information to give you a diagnostic report." Um, yes you did...you sent us the Fed Ex box and emailed us to initiate the process! Then they said they would do it and circle back with us. My husband just called again and they said "oh we were waiting for your information." What information?! They have emailed us, sent Fed Ex packaging and yet they have no way of reaching us?! Complete and utter incompetence. Next time, we're buying a Rolex. Cartier sucks! read more

I understand but how about acknowledging me and saying something like,"Would you mind waiting ten minutes?" Nope, the woman (60s or so) with brown hair was SO NASTY. I had to poke her to find out when I should come back. She repeated twice,"I am busy! There are only two of us!" Finally I questioned the man who was somewhat more pleasant.
