Justus Did a excellent job! Were new to the area and wanted to find a new shop and his work wad clean

We went to Louisville for my sons birthday and on our way down to our second stop in Nashville we stopped to see Justus. He is amazing. Thursday is his day off but he came in just so he could give my son a tattoo. We had a great time talking, laughing, and listening to tunes while Justus tattooed the most amazing tattoo. My son asked for a Viking and it was done so incredibly well there aren't word to express our awe! Justus is an awesome person and an awesome artist! Great visit. We will be back again! Never been here before but was highly recommended. Just had a new tattoo done for my birthday by the artist Doughboy. I lost my best friend (Indianna 12-year-old Labrador) and wanted his paw print so this was super important to me. Doughboy used his last print to make sketches and worked with several size designs beforehand. Tattoo came out exactly as I wanted. I felt comfortable and at ease. I've reviewed before and gave a 5, I had Cole and he did a great job. He deserves that 5. But be weary of an artist called "dough boy" he gave me a terrible heavy handed tattoo 4 years ago, with something as simple as a heart. It's so crooked, I'm so embarrassed by it. I am finally financially secure enough that I've started laser to get it removed which is why I'm leaving this review now, so people don't have to pay 100s of dollars like im having to do to get it removed read more

So I had called to schedule an appointment and Justus answered & he was absolutely awesome, he got me and my friend right in for the next evening & had the designs ready when we got there. I got 3 fine line tattoos because I'm starting to get a bunch of little ones on my arm and he literally did SO GOOD. i am absolutely obsessed with them. they are so clean and he was so easy to talk to, we absolutely would recommend him for fine line!!! thank you thank you Justus!!! definitely will be back :) read more

This is a horrible way to conduct business. @paintedladybrows I've had an appointment set for 3 weeks and scheduled the day off work to get my eyebrows tattooed by Jamie Derossett... NOW the day before appt, I received email stating-- she does not have enough experience and needed to cancel appointment. If you knew, you were not capable/competent of your services --DO NOT OFFER IT. get some experience before you advertise/accept appointments..etc and definitely don't cancel the day before.....btw, she advertises this service on FB and Instagam be for some reason will not honor actually doing the work.. beware folks..before you waste your time and money on someone that is not honest upfront and competent.. glad I received her email before I let her TATTOO my face..@paintedladybrows LET ME ADD: this is in no way a reflection of the work from everyone else at Carter Tattoo, I have several friends that go there and get Phenomenal tattoos.. but I must let people know how she is before something bad happens, due to her inexperience. Went in as a walk in, small 30 minute tattoo. Doughboy greeted me, printed out the design and got the ink on me in no time. Very polite. Shop was clean. He explained aftercare well. I'll definitely go back when I'm ready for my next tattoo. read more

This is the best tattoo shop I've ever been to. I've been tattooed by Rob and Brad and both were outstanding. Highly recommend this place.

After hearing lots of good word of mouth about this place and looking at their work I decided to get my first tattoo here. It came out amazing! Went here for my very first tattoo. The artist, Atom, sketched exactly what I wanted and was totally cool with my last-minute adjustments. I was really nervous but Atom talked with me the whole time and made the whole experience not just bearable, but fun! I cannot give these guys a better recommendation.
