They sell tons of Marvel, Harry Potter items, a lot of old sitcoms/cartoons and a lot of Japanese Anime. We came here earlier this week for back to school shopping and I noticed there were quite a bit of workers, but when we came to check out there were 2 ladies at the register and we went to her line and the lady closed the register and pointed to the girl next to her and said "she'll check you out right over there". Right before that, I watched her yak her mouth with all of her coworkers about a new POP toy she was going to purchase when she was off her shift and then when a new customer would walk up, she would point at another direction and have the other workers help. Wow Hot Topic! I didn't know you were hiring people to not work. Bad look on Hot Topic. We shop here frequently and was in shock to see that type of attitude. When we went it wasn't busy at all, so not sure why that worker was already acting like that. Not sure if I want to come back, but I'm sure I will because my boys like to shop here. Hope your experience is better than mine guys!!! Good Luck on your visit!

I've been to this location quite a few times and to me this Skechers Factory Outlet is not any…read moredifferent from any other Skechers. Why did I rate this only average is because we came during back to school shopping a few times (earlier this week and a few other times on years prior). The sales here are no different than the sales they have on a regular basis. Any time we have visited Skechers Factory Outlet no matter what location it is, they always have the buy one, get the second one for 50% off. Visiting here for back to school shopping, I didn't feel they had any promotions for the back to school shoppers. I felt that I could probably find a good deal at the Outlets rather than in Bakersfield because this place caters to the Outlet shoppers who look for deals and promotions. So if you're thinking you'll get a better deal at Skechers @ Tejon Outlets then you're wrong. You're better off saving your gas and just going to your local Skechers. You'll be just as satisfied at this location versus your local store. Please don't think this is knocking on Skechers in general because we shop at Skechers often because my older son thinks Skechers has very comfortable shoes and I can back that fact up also, I just find it hard to not see any deals for the past 4 years for back to school shopping. As far as staff, they seemed okay. Staff only helped if you went to look for help and the cash register girl look like she wanted to be there. She didn't make eye contact or smile and just moved right along to the next person.

And they had great quality clothes on sale. I purchased two dresses. I believe they were only nine dollars a piece. One of them has the material of a smock or waterproof. When I get more time, I will come back and look further because I had only looked at half of the store. The staff doesn't really bother you in the dressing room rooms and they don't bother you in your shopping. But they are very helpful at the register and quick.
