I was in great pain while I was there and his office staff only "fluffed" me off. His assistant fit me for another pessary only to later find out it was the same size as the one I already had. So this is another lie Roberts told me. After his therapeutic technique the pessary should be resized and refit and nothing of the sort was done. I was hurting very badly while in his office after his diagnosis of me from two years ago and had questions none of which were answered nor did his assistant or office staff see to care. I can only assume that I was not beneficial in his making more money from me. After Dottie retired then Roberts new assistant is not at all helpful and definitely not caring. She just left the room and told me nothing nor did they give me a script or any other information? How uncompassionate a man is he? Just stay away from him and go to another OB/GYN because the choices Doctor Roberts makes regarding your health is for his own self motivation which is money. Plain and simple he made as much money as he could from the Medicare patients and when he could make no more he dropped them as a patient and left us all hanging. After calling to talk to Dr. Barnes about the problem, unsuccessfully, I was called back by the very same office staff the next day with a written statement from the doctor which was dismissive at the very least. She's a wonderful listener & always very attentive to my concerns, & changes in pain levels. She gave me physical therapy exercises to do at home & had several treatment recommendations I used in addition to using medication. She closely monitors my pain levels not only the day of my appointment, but throughout the entire one month period between appointments. She never rushes through her time with me & provides a very personalized patient care experience. Shes always very open & honest, explaining why or why not she recommends or prescribes various treatments. In addition to medication & home exercise, she gives spinal injections that provide excellent pain relief & allow me to perform more activities without using more medication. As a retired RN of 32 years, I highly recommend Dr Stelling, not only because she is a highly specialized, intelligent physician, but also because of her sincere concern for her patients. She also has professional, caring staff. I'm so fortunate to be a patient at her Clinic.

I told them that they could find a vein better if they gave me an external heat source, but they said that "that doesn't work". They've never tried that before, and in their ignorance and unwillingness to LISTEN TO THE PATIENT they made my procedure much more difficult than it should have been!

The staff needs to be trained on how to work with high functioning autistic people. They do not have a turnoff switch that allows them to be calm in certain situations, i.e. before surgery & being around needles. Just because you can't see their disability doesn't mean it's not there.
