I have had many dentists in my 52 years here on Earth and I have now found my FOREVER dentist!!! I called Dr. Kutsch's office because a crown had fallen off and I had no trustworthy dental office to seek assistance from! The person on the end of the phone was excellent at understanding my issue and at scheduling me, and I had never been seen there before!!! I went into the practice yesterday for my first visit. Due to my prior dental experiences I wanted to leave before I ever stepped out of my car! A few deep breaths and I was in the parking lot headed for the door......Oh, I was so nervous! As I stepped in I was met with a huge smile and a welcome from Tracy! She then asked if she could get me something to drink. I was like...hello, I am at the right office aren't I! She gave me a cup of my favorite beverage, coffee, and chatted about the massage seats as I sat down! I turned on this excellent massage wonder and began melting into the abyss! I was so relaxed when they came to get me it was amazing! It also was a short wait which was nice! I met with Stephanie who allowed me to continue my coffee while she did her initial work up! The coolest part of this was her mellow personal professional nature as she did my xrays (and I watched on my own patient screen) ....It was relaxing and enjoyable! Not like a dental stressful situation as in my past! I was actually getting to know her and the practice in just a short amount of time! WOW! Next I got to meet Dr. Kutsch while he examined me!!! I had a bad cavity under my huge old filling which he found....but somehow they made me feel so at ease I was excited he found it and that I was going to get it fixed!!! What?? Excited to be drilled on!!! YES! This office is just so amazing I was excited!!! Next, because I had only come in for a crown to be cemented, I had a brief wait for my repair they had just found! I was given a wonderful heated neck pack, more coffee and the massage seat again!!! There was even a munchie banana or apple had I needed a boost! As I waited a very short time, I noticed smiling patients leaving! I noticed the friendly positive way Tracy treated all the other patients! I was amazed at the "feel" inside this office! Julianne came for me next! Wow! Another positive friendly person! She took me back and made sure I was comfortable and began prepping me for the procedure! Her professionalism and kind nature took away my fears!! Dr. came in and soon I was done! A new overlay/crown was made and placed as was my original that had previously fallen off!!! I felt great, sore but great! As I sat there right after the procedure Dr. handed me a serving dish with a warm moist towlette and a chocolate treat! Holy Moly! Did I die and go to heaven? No, just to the dentist! I checked out and was handed a beautiful rose nicely wrapped in tissue and a bow!!! I want to go back!!! Wait, it is a dentist office I am thinking.....but then I reassured myself that this is no ordinary office, this is a state of the art modern friendly professional place I get to call my dental home!!! OH WAIT, there is MORE! I was relaxing at home later that evening when the phone rang! Oh yes, it was Dr. Kutsch checking in on me! WOW! Pinch me! Have I really found my FOREVER Dental Office! Yes! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone if I could. I personally have had some of THE WORST dental experiences, but there was something about this place that called me to check it out. Maybe it was the friendly person who first answered the phone, or maybe it was the fact that the office is incredibly warm and inviting, and even maybe after all that it could be the fantastic staff that Mr. Carson has working for him. I have had the amazing pleasure of working with Jenny and Julianne personally and those two are some of the sweetest, caring, bright people I've had the pleasure of meeting in a dental office. As for the actual experience that led me to this review, here we go. I had "cracked my tooth" over one weekend and utterly freaked out, called the emergency line and was beyond grateful when Jenny called me back and handled my freak out moments amazingly! Once I got to the office on Monday Julianne called me back (and I was so grateful it was her and not someone I hadn't met yet, made the experience a lot easier). Once back there it didn't take long for the ball to get rolling and Mr. Carson to show up. He has to be one of the friendliest, down to earth, honest dentist I have ever met. He made sure I understood completely what was going on, what my options were, and how things were going to go down. Once the work started there was some immense pain that I had to suffer through while they prepared the tooth for a crown. The whole time my nerves and anxiety got the best of me and I was shaking like a dog who's afraid of rain haha! They didn't mind joking around and trying to relax me, they made sure I was comfortable and had a tissue ready for when they would hit a tender spot and the pain would start, and they both (Julianne and Carson) made sure I was 100% okay with everything happening through the entire process. As I go to leave Julianne walks me to the front and hands me a long-stemmed rose and told me I was a pleasure to work on, and she really hopes that over the next few days the soreness and pain goes away quickly and I'll be back to myself in no time. I wasn't expecting such friendliness and warmness from a dental office, but I was happily surprised and even more surprised to say I look forward to going back for a check-up/cleaning because I know I will see smiling, warm faces and not be scared at all. read more

I had a phenomenal experience at Dr. Kutsch's office. My sister was the one who referred me, informing me that this was the most professional and honest clinic she's ever been to. Albany is at least a 45 minute commute for me, but my sister has had a lot of dental work done at multiple locations between Portland and Corvallis, and I figured it'd be a good idea to take her word for it. The first thing I noticed was that I was able to describe my issue (I had to reattach a veneer) and do all my scheduling online. I emailed them multiple times and every concerned and question was promptly answered. They took great care to work with my busy schedule and even gave me the option to reschedule for an earlier appointment when there was an opportunity to. My visit was a very pleasant one. The reception was comfortable and I could fill out the registration forms and paperwork electronically or by hand. The dental assistant who prepped me for everything was a saint. I told her that I was very uncomfortable around needles (I had to get a shot or two of anesthetic) and she was able to keep my mind off the matter by telling me about her recent trip to Seattle, one of my favorite cities, and she would politely check to see if I was feeling okay. Dr. Kutsch was the doctor who worked on my veneer and he was very kind and friendly. His feedback and diagnosis was straight forward, and fortunately for me, my veneer was salvageable and nothing was damaged-best case scenario. He walked me though the best course of action, and got right to work on reattaching everything. He made sure I was comfortable with my bite, constantly checked up on me and updated me on where we were on the reattachment, and took the time to give me follow up information-when the anesthetic will wear off, how long my gums will be tender, what to do and what not to do, etc. It was also very kind of him to give me a follow up call at the end of the day to see if everything was alright. Honestly, everyone at this office goes above and beyond to make sure their patients are taken care of. I would gladly travel the 45 minutes again for this level of quality care and I highly recommend this practice. read more

I "inherited" Dr. Carson Kutsch and staff when Dr. Jones retired and Carson took over his patient accounts. Just like many others, I've never preferred going to the dentist and with the many issues I've had with my teeth over the years would cringe just at the thought of that chair. My wife encouraged me to transfer to her dentist since this was a perfect time to "break ties". Since my hygienist was still there, I hated the thought of starting over completely and hung in there to tryout "the new guy". This was one time I'm glad I didn't listen to my wife. (But don't tell her I said this!) Dr. Kutsch is beyond incredible. My experience with him has been nothing short of wonderful from the beginning. You'd think "wonderful" and "dentist" would be an oxymoron but not with Carson. From his relaxed, easy going personality to his gentle handling of my teeth I could not ask for a better dentist. I'm not sure one better exists. As an example of Carson's "personal approach" to dentistry he called me after my first filling to check in and make sure I wasn't having any trouble. He's done the same after each of my crowns. I've never had this kind of experience with any other dentist and I've had several. I won't repeat all these other great reviews but I will agree with them. Friendly, outgoing, top quality, caring, pleasant, enjoyable (another oxymoron right!) and just down right wonderful! There's not enough room in this review to say everything I could say. They go above and beyond to take care of their patients and I just can't say enough good things about all of them. One last note. From the beginning Carson has fostered a "family atmosphere" with his staff. This is a dental team, not just a dentist and an office. I had regularly received advertisements in the mail from Dr. Kutsch and decided I would give his office a call. The experience at his building was completely unlike any other dentist experience. He did a full exam, laid out exactly what needed to be done to get back to perfect dental health. He took the time to understand my personal needs, and crafted a plan to achieve a perfect, healthy smile before my wedding day. With my specific needs and short timeframe, he contacted an orthodontist colleague/friend in Beaverton and did everything possible to get the process expedited. He went above and beyond in so many ways. What I most appreciated about Dr Carson Kutsch was he didnt just recommend a quick-fix, he recommended what was best for my long-term dental health. We just moved to Albany this year from out of state. Finding a new dentist/doctor/mechanic, etc. is really hard, especially after several years of loving the ones you've come to know and trust. We found Dr. Kutsch primarily from a direct mail piece and since they were one of only two dentists who bothered to reach out to us, we decided to check them out. We knew what we were looking for. We really wanted somebody with the same philosophy of dental care we had back home. We wanted someone who was technologically advanced; meaning digital x-rays and in office crowns, etc. Well at this point the whole family has been in for check-ups (and more) and we feel like we found all we were looking for (and more) and that was a pleasant surprise. The more that we found was the personal service. Dr. Kutsch has somehow been able to hire people who really care at a personal level about intimate family details such as an upcoming engagement or impending departure. And in our specific case (he wouldn't want me to tell you) we found a level of charity and kindness and generosity that was difficult to embrace. We had a "warranty" issue with some dental work we'd done back home and the lengths his office went to own the problem allowed for solutions we just could not manage alone. I am new to the area and went online to find a new dentist. Wow! This is the best dentist office I've been to. From scheduling my first appointment everyone I have come in contact with has been caring and understanding. It had been a few years since my last visit and I never felt judged or embarrassed about my situation. I am normally freaked out to have people working on my teeth, but I felt completely at ease with the Dr and hygienist Allison. I don't know if it was their technology or bedside manner(probably a combination) but each appointment was great. I set up a few appointments and each time I went in I never had to wait past my appointment time. I was given a treatment plan with the cost of treatment up front so there were no surprises financially. The shots and treatment Dr. Kutsch gave were completely painless and look amazing. I ended up getting some cosmetic work done and I feel like a new person. I can't believe how little time it took to fix my teeth. My confidence is up and I am happy to smile again! Thank you so much Dr. Kutsch and the employees. A nice touch was that Dr. Kutsch actually called me to see how I was doing and if I had any questions after my appointment. I can't say I ever really get excited to go to the dentist, but I can honestly say I do get excited to tell people about my dentist. Dr. Kutsch and his amazing staff make dental visits as pleasant, quick and comfortable as possible. I was treated with respect and kindness, and I even had a few good laughs during my exam while getting to know the hygienists. As a new patient to Kutsch Dentistry this year, I really appreciate the friendly environment coupled with leading-edge dental care and technology. I went in for my second cleaning today and was greeted with smiles and, to my surprise, questions about things we'd talked about six months earlier. My hygienist, Jenny, not only does great work but is friendly and engaging, making the time fly by as we chat between plaque-picking and teeth polishing. The technology used from the exam tools to the video and x-ray machines give you a view of your dental health that is unparalleled in my experience. I've been very satisfied with the treatment Dr. Kutsch's office has given my family. One of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to doctors' offices is a poorly trained front office staff. The entire staff at Dr. Kutsch's office is made up of warm, friendly people who make you feel comfortable and at ease (not easy in their small waiting room!) There are fancy coffees and teas if you're so inclined and little snacks that let you know you're valued as a patient. Dr. Kutsch is great about explaining your treatment plan in language that respects your intelligence and his staff make sure you are getting the most out of your dental insurance plan. I have been with Dr. Kutsch from the beginning when he had just started. I came in and found his staff so friendly and it has been amazing to see the way his office has changed and all the updates they have done, but one thing has not changed, his professionalism, and personality. He is so easy to talk to and he has been amazing with my children and they look forward to going to see him and his staff!! He was the first dentist that has taken the time to follow through after the appointmet to make sure everything was still going ok and there were no problems. I could sing the praises of Dr Carson Kutsch and his team anytime! To start with, the ways of the Kutsch team are the best at putting any dental phobic at ease. I avoided the dentist most of my life except as needed. I came to them with a issue and instead of feeling like I was at the dentist, I felt more like I was experiencing a spa treatment. In the past I have dreaded going to the dentist so did not go often. When a tooth broke off last year I was forced to seek out a dentist. My doctor highly recommended Carson Kutsch. Even though it was only a first visit to the office, I can already tell that I'm going to be sticking with Dr. Kutsch and his team from now on (at least until I move). They were very personable and professional and have this way of making someone feel more at home while being in a dental office. I hadn't been to the dentist since I was a teenager, so I was dreading this appointment. However, they made me feel very at ease and the Dr. himself seems like a real stand up guy.
