They did a parvo test, came back positive so they gave her an "antibiotic." When we got her back she had a huge lump by her neck backside, they said it was normal. When we got her back she seemed a little off we thought it was the "antibiotic". 2 hours go by and she was significantly worse, still not eating, not responsive, can't even stand, locked jaw and her eyes started rolling back. We called to see what they can do about this they said they really can't do anything about it except for offering to euthanize her. They were in-comprehensive, money hungry,and only wanting to create opportunity for them to make money. We asked for advice and got nothing. We paid 300$ for medicine she can't even take and the other option was 700$ for a night at the vet and they check on them every 2 hours. My puppy is still sick and unresponsive we are doing our best to keep our Rosie alive these people have no intention to help,all they want is money. Would give negative stars if I could.

The vet. had no concern for me or my dog. All she wanted to due was euthanize him. She kept pushing to euthanize, giving me no hope for his recovery. I finally agreed but when I got home and called my dogs brothers owner, she told me her dog has had seizures for months. He has a seizure and is out of it for a day then he snaps back and is fine for several months. Because the vet. could care less about me or my dog. She didn't want to give me any other options. She just wanted to euthanize my Yorkie and show the student how important and knowledgeable she was. She is one of the worst vet's, I have ever seen or dealt with. Absolutely no compassion or concern for the animal or owner. Where are the vets like " The Incredible Dr. Pol, Critter Fixer's, Heartland Vet., and The Yukon vet." Veterinarians who treat all animals and poultry, who truly care about the animals, birds, their patients and the owners. Dr. Bill Griffin of Borger Texas has died but he truly cared and had true compassion.

Found Gray Co Clinic through Yelp and took him there. From the time we arrived we were treated well and sensed genuine concern from the staff. They contacted our vet for records, and talked to him for back ground. They sedated my dog replaced his dislocated shoulder wrapped him and woke him back up in an hour. Dr G informed us on future expectations and explained in detail everything that he did and what to expect. I could not be more happy with this experience.

We stopped at Shaggy's to try and purchase a dog crate because we had no way to care for the dog. Being a boarding facility they agreed to take her in and help us try and get reunited with her original owners. We have already been having a nightmare of a trip with car problems and other issues. So having this little bit of help was a godsend! The store and facility itself is very nice and clean. Saw a few clients of theirs pick up their pets after grooming and they looked beautifully groomed too. I would highly recommend supporting this great facility. They don't just care about business, they genuinely care about animals!

Took my girl on Saturday afternoon at 5pm, receptionist was sweet. Picked my girl up on Wednesday afternoon at 415 pm. Was told my balance was $115. Apparently after 4 pm, you get charged for late drop off or late pickup, was never informed of this. 4 nights for $195?! Basically paid for 5 nights. She did get a "complementary" bath. Too steep of a board for just a place for my dog to sleep and she requires very little play time because she is 16 years old. Won't be going back there.

My sister ask them if anything could be done for my pup. They were happy to try. My pup came back looking like a different dog. 2 days later she's running and playing. I have used High Plains for over five years now. I moved from Denver, CO and needed a new vet. HP seemed a good bet so I made the appointment for healthcare check and vaccinations. I was completely awed by the friendliness and knowledge exhibited by the staff. I had used my vet in Denver for over ten years and I had never been treated by my old vet as I was by HP personnel. Prices were 'standard' based upon my past experiences and the handling of my cat was extraordinary. HP has always, from day one, given me an appointment that worked around my schedule and, in some instances, let me bring Nochè in 'whenever' because I have difficulty catching him and, more often than not, I have been unable to keep a set time. I have never had a single bad incident with HP and highly recommend the business.
