Unfortunately, she passed away. I spoke with her primary vet about this, and he was confident that the fluids were given too quickly, which contributed to her death. The staff appeared friendly and accommodating, but it's important to be mindful and aware of the facility's & staffs capabilities when using them.

I have used High Plains for over five years now. I moved from Denver, CO and needed a new vet. HP seemed a good bet so I made the appointment for healthcare check and vaccinations. I was completely awed by the friendliness and knowledge exhibited by the staff. I had used my vet in Denver for over ten years and I had never been treated by my old vet as I was by HP personnel. Prices were 'standard' based upon my past experiences and the handling of my cat was extraordinary. HP has always, from day one, given me an appointment that worked around my schedule and, in some instances, let me bring Nochè in 'whenever' because I have difficulty catching him and, more often than not, I have been unable to keep a set time. I have never had a single bad incident with HP and highly recommend the business.

If you are in the Texas Panhandle this is the best possible care available. Dr. Carroll is also the ONLY board certified veterinarian in the Texas Panhandle. Accountable, professional, competent and affordable is what you can expect.
