You know if you have a dog, you kind of end up really, really loving them? Well, we have 3 and believe me, we really do love them. However, we also like to have a life and since our student son moved out, endless possibilities for weekends away have suddenly presented themselves (safe in the knowledge our house will still be in one piece when we get back!).
The pooches present something of a dilemma - at least they used to until we found Trevor and Isobel at these kennels at Carryduff. We leave the dogs about three times a year and they come back happy and healthy every time. Even more, though, we know from the conversations we have with Trevor and hid mum Isobel that they know our dogs well - what their personalities are, what they like best to eat, what they play with. They even make sure that our little Yorkie cross breed has her stuffed animal in with her at night (sad, but true!).
The kennels are in a rural setting and don't have such new-fangled facilities like 'dog-cams', but they are warm and clean and the care the dogs get is truly wonderful. Now, onto skyscanner, anyone seen my passport? read more
