What an absolutely amazing place to visit. This is about 20 minutes outside of Rioverde. It's off a…read moredirt road which is ok for cars. Tons of free parking. You can bring in your own food but no outside alcohol is allowed. Plenty of cheap drinks inside. Lots of places inside to rent or buy floaties, life jackets, masks & snorkels, etc. The water is clear, warm, and beautiful. The family loved spending a day here. Entry is $30 pesos and they will inspect your bags for booze. You can scuba dive here for $750 pesos with no reservations required. At the time of this review, that's about $40 USD. Lots of places to relax, eat, play, etc. I highly recommend visiting and allowing yourself a full day to explore this place. Amazing experience!

The water here is warm, amazingly clear and practically still. You get in for about 2 USD and they have plenty of stalls selling foods/concessions. If you got past the the people there are empty areas with super deep water. So take someone with you.
