I had the vehicle towed to the dealer where I bought it and because they determined the damage was repairable for less than the vehicle's estimated cash value I thought they would fix it. Long story short, the dealer refused to repair it so I settled with the insurance company, bought the "wreck", secured a salvaged vehicle title from DMV, and was fortunate enough to find my way to Rick's. I mostly dealt with Cassandra, who always returned my calls, text messages, and emails promptly. She scoured the country to find genuine GM replacement parts and kept me posted on the progress of repairs all along the way. When the big day came and I picked up my vehicle, to say I was thrilled would be an understatement. It looked show-room new inside and out, every bit as good as the day I drove it off the dealer's lot. As I drove it home that afternoon, I felt like I was driving a new car. Paint is onion skin finish. They must not have sanded after painting. Paint overspray onto tires and wheels. Communication is terrible. Calls that go to voicemail is like a dead letter zone. A local auto parts store referred us to Joe but cautioned that he may be too busy to help us. We arrived at 7am and Joe told us he'd try to look at it but could not guarantee he'd be able to repair it that day. I told him we needed to check in with the church if we weren't going to make it to Houston on time since the church closed at 9. He suggested I call as he could not guarantee a time. My husband and I went to a nearby park and began rescheduling our trip. We were heartbroken to think we would not be able to go to Houston. To our surprise, Joe called at 11:30am (just 4.5 hours later) and informed us that our car was ready to go! When we picked it up, he gave us a great deal and were able to get back on the road to Houston!
