If you're in search of a magnet, this is perfect. Otherwise, it was not my cup of tea, but that's okay! Because many people were finding lots of items they wanted while I was browsing. So definitely check it out and see if you find anything fun!

Speaking of snacks, they also share a space with a local gelato/ice cream shop! Service was friendly and helpful whether on the sales floor or at the register. The store was packed with stuff, so a little hard to maneuver, especially when busy, which I feel is majority of the time. Quality of the goods seemed to be mixed, as did pricing. Overall, solid shop to stop by while wandering around Dublin.

We received exceptional service from the ladies at Kilkenny shop…read more They have a large range of items from handmade candy, luxury crystal, wool blankets and clothing apparel. Ruth was really helpful and set the items we selected aside as we shopped to our hands free. They have change rooms for you to try clothing as needed and an attendant to help you find sizes. What was really unique and cool to see was the Irish gold jewelry pieces and to learn the history about the particular source of the gold. They sell quality products from local and Irish companies. I really enjoyed finding true Irish based products. Thank you ladies!! I was in Dublin for just 7 days and I came back to this shop twice! 10 out of 10 highly recommend!

We were told by a retail worker who looked ashamed, that they did not have lifts. Only stairs. l then looked at the stairs and it looked like Mount Everest to me. My disability is 90% invisible however I know my limits and I had my wheelchair with me that day. The lovely retail worker offered us free tea or coffee for us to go. However at this point I felt dejected. All I wanted to do was get something to eat with my father. To whoever owns this store an/or the building; DO BETTER! How would you feel if you couldn't see half the shop? Grab a bite to eat and a drink? How would you feel if that was your child? We are only a few days away from 2026 and to see this type of discrimination against disabled people is shocking. I am n mincing my words. It was pure discrimination. Pure and simple.

You can find a Carrolls quite quickly, and we certainly did as we walked inside a mall after coming from St. Stephen's Green. The shop clerks were accommodating as they gave us a cart to keep the items we had collected from falling out of our arms. We picked up several items -- t-shirts, hats, necklaces, magnets, keychains, some things that were five euros or less in a box by the cash register at the back of the store. It was undoubtedly an enjoyable experience. My wife was eyeing the wool sweaters, but I had to talk her down since we live in South Florida, where it's 90 degrees year-round. Overall, you cannot go wrong with Carrolls when you need souvenirs and t-shirts to highlight and remember your trip to Dublin.

Most of us couldn't afford to totally deck our houses out with the stuff, but for a high-end gift, it might hit the spot. The items on sale are far removed from merchandise sold in other gift shops, not a 'póg mo thón' plastic apron in sight. This makes it popular with those tourists who look for some expensive authenticity Irish to bring home with them, and who have a few euros to spare. It's a good place for a wedding present too, or a smaller gift if you can't cough up the big bucks. It's a slightly pretentious establishment (definitely the kind of place might refer to itself as an establishment, it's not a common shop, don't you know), which I suppose comes part and parcel with the business they attract. Inside is kind of airy, ethereal and peaceful - the perfect atmosphere in which to conduct some expensive Celtic purchasing.
