Carrie was referred to me by my real estate agent when I was purchasing a home. While I understand the process of getting approved for a mortgage is long and tedious, I felt that Carrie was asking for more information all the time, rather than just asking up front for everything. There were many times I got the papers that she needed, and then she asked for something else. For example, I already had to deal with my slumlord once obtaining a document, and after getting it I had to deal with him a second time for something else I needed. Then, I find out I needed a signed document from my roommate stating that this person was my roommate. It would have been so much nicer to have everything I needed laid out for me to begin with. However, my experience isn't what caused the majority of my rating of Carrie. I ultimately got my mortgage and purchased my home, and Carrie was very nice and cordial to me. But then I recommended her to my friend when she was in the process of buying her first home as well. She had such a terrible experience with Carrie that I feel so embarrassed and non-credible as a person that I did this to my close friend of 20 years. She said Carrie was very helpful in the beginning, requested all necessary documents, and then just stopped responding after my friend asked more questions.
