The Grand Entry Hall is a soaring lobby that can accomodate private events and is the main display space for art shows. There is also an Event Hall that opens to the outdoor Terrace Theater. Concessions available are beer, wine, cocktails, soft drinks, and snacks. The facility is really quite spectacular. I recently visited to view the Roland Bernier retrospective which included a substantial selection of his work from the 1980s/1990s. The expansive lobby provided an excellent setting for his large-scale works. Additional art display space is available in the long hallway that leads from the lobby to the administration offices. The Arts Center has a busy schedule of theatrical and musical events that are presented in the Main Stage and Terrace theaters. There is also a regular schedule of art exhibits. This is a well-designed complex that offers many reasons to visit for those with an interest in many areas of the arts.

I've frequented the Lone Tree Arts Center many times for various shows and events and can say that I'm a FAN! Music on the outdoor Terrace? YES PLEASE! Community theater shows featuring local actors and actresses? VERY COOL! Seasonal plays, musicals and Christmas shows? YOU MUST GO! Events hosted by the Alzheimer's Association for families and loved ones? THE COOLEST! SO much opportunity! The website highlights the various shows, events and happenings at the Arts Center and each one is carefully curated, offered to everyone and at a low cost. The theater itself is huge, well maintained and offers levels of seating - perfect at any view. Staff is beyond friendly, welcoming and smiley each and every time! I actively look for events at this Arts Center and find myself truly enjoying each experience! Definitely worth a shot :)

The 10,000 square foot space operated as The Madden Museum of Art from 2008 to 2013. It was then operated by the University of Denver from 2016 to 2025 as part of a donation of artworks by the Madden family. It is now the Madden Gallery of The Museum of Outdoor Arts as of October 21, 2025. The space is expansive with very high ceilings and is ideal for the display of large-scale contemporary art. The MOA inaugural show takes full advantage of this with Todd Siler's Metaphorming TIME, showcasing a substantial selection of the largest works by this internationally-acclaimed artist, author, educator, and innovation facilitator. This gallery will remain free to the public and provides a new home for the "indoor" collection of The Museum of Outdoor Arts since the closure of their previous gallery space at the Englewood City Hall.

To be fair, it is located within the Palazzo Verdi. The Madden Museum exists to inspire and make art accessible to the Denver Tech Center and Greenwood Village community through exhibitions, education and through learning about art-- according to their website!! Look @ this as well, it is also heavily inspired by couple own exhibitions of the Madden Family:: "THE MADDEN'S "Hanging on a wall in our home are several paintings by artists all but one of whom are critics choices. G. Bellows, J.M. W. Turner, T.H. Benton, D. Sprick, J. Whistler, the non-sequiter in the group is Boy in the Grass, an oil painted by an American housewife over fifty years ago, Not long ago a visitor, a cognoscenti and also museum director, casually looked over at the art wall in the house and said "hmm, I like this one especially. Who is the artist?" As proud as a parent seeing an all-A report card, I responded over the unsigned work, "My wife Marjorie." And as you see, there is really no true relationship between money and the value of art. - John W. Madden, Jr. Through his business ventures, John Madden never lost his passion for the arts. Often incorporating unique aspects and creative architecture in his real estate developments, Madden and his wife Marjorie sough to infuse art into all they encountered. The Maddens began collecting art early on, and have showcased many sculptures from their private collection throughout Greenwood Village. Madden's notion that art should be part of everyday life led him to develop a museum of mostly sculpture. In 1981, Madden founded the Museum of Outdoor Arts. Close to 30 years after the doors opened to MOA, Madden designed a new museum. The MADDEN Museum of Art is the manifestation of a dream. Madden was unwavering - "The MADDEN should be a space for study and the arts, a place filled with notable artwork, an institution that will inspire great thought." Omg my goodness, I thought to myself how amazing and inspiring that a gala of inspiration was created here!! All done by the sake of love and art!! You can find Victorian, renaissance, old vintage, and many chic and posh ladies painted on daring portraits !!

I feel this studio is for the "few select few" whom Ms Witherspoon can teach and have quite a high level of experience. The website indicated you will be taught how to paint but this was not the case for me. I knew nothing about painting only having done paint by number through the years. It was suggested that I purchase over $400 of art supplies and through Jerry's only to find out with now being with the Greenwood Village Curtis Art Center that I do not need many of the paints nor brushes. I am learning about value, placement and how to mix colours to achieve and learn about the colour wheel and how to make the colours work for my painting. I was interested in painting a landscape and found the selection to choose from was around animals and things I was not interested in. I stopped because the only print that even came close just did not do anything for me.
