With only 1 liter of gas and no cell service. Was told I had to return car with full tank of gas or be charged for gas. Shuttle driver refused to take me to proper terminal and told me to take the airport bus or train. The whole experience was horrible. Also, no one at the counter spoke any English at an airport that regularly and consistently serves US, Canada, and England. I try to speak Spanish, but come on...... On the plus side, they tried to charge me for insurance even though I told them I had prepaid for that. Fortunately, that charge did not go through.

They also offer full coverage with zero deductible in case of a collision which gives you peace of mind. If you are a frequent renter, they also give you free upgrades. I have also rented from National in different cities within Mexico and I can say that there is consistency in the quality of the cars that are available. Certainly if they could do better in terms of customer service and speed of getting customers in and out doing the same way that National in the US gets that done.
