I picked up flooring materials from here and ran into probs with 2 defective ones right away but…read moredidn't care much because i had already got enough and some extra for runoff avoided their installers because I have a solid contractor from a buddy later on and still in the warranty some of the ones had defects like thinness that made cracks and separations it seemed to be towards but not quite on the ends the other ones were fine no issues even with the extras i had i didn't have enough to make up the difference with the defective ones so i needed to get the new ones under warranty. but these guys dont do warranty when you need it had all the papers some of the original boxes pictures even the defective ones everything. other flooring companies never had this issue and im never doing business here again like i said its not all of them just some defective so i dunno i give them 2 stars but 1 is better shoulda done ur warranty on those ones what can u say read reviews i guess

Keep in mind I have been a contractor for 30 yrs, so I know what I'm talking about, quality of workmanship, pride of job well done is not in Prestige's vocabulary. First team arrived, and despite being flooring installers, openly admitted they didn't know how to do stairs, only flat areas. This team also did not complete the transition strips to bathroom and bedrooms, I had to finish their install. After about 6 weeks of my house torn apart, the stair "specialist" showed up. He rolled in sporadically for a couple hours here and there and finished after 2 more weeks. It was rainy out, so I foolishly let him use my garage for cuts, which he left a gigantic mess and did not clean up anything after himself. Fast forward a few months, and every stair is broken, ends are lifting on flat surfaces. The company proceeds to ghost me for a few months, until someone finally responds, sometimes weeks/months between replies. The warranty you get with the floor basically isn't real, it is offered just to make a sale. They blame the issue on anything that won't be the material or installers fault, example being "you must have had something too heavy on it". It's flooring, should be able to handle people walking on it. Had a third party inspector come in and confirm install was done terribly and incorrectly on stairs and that the flooring itself failed on flat surfaces. Reps for the company came out and confirmed that as well to me. Was told "FloorIt would follow up with me", this being sent via text message. Both FloorIt and the company reps have since ghosted. What a waste of money and over 1 year of fighting to get compensated for thousands in failed material and installation. Would never do business with this company again and will actively tell people to avoid them as well.

I bought it and installed it and I had recommend the flooring to my mother who was looking for something similar she found out that in fact it is ONLY rated for 30 MINUTES..... not 72 hours. I have called and emailed Hassan many times and he keeps doubling down that it is indeed good for 72 hours. When in fact the manufacture tells me only 30 min. Very frustrating. Buy from somewhere else. UPDATE: They offered me $500 and sum dollars to shut up, which the MANUFACTURER has already PAID TO floorit. When it comes to the money Floorit is the middleman, I don't know why. They told me the money had come in and to come pick up the money on Tuesday. So I came the following Thursday and it wasn't there. "Come back tomorrow when the owner is here". Today is that day and he won't give me the money until I delete my previous review on BBB (Which they're name is now The Carpet Discounters Ltd. for some reason). The money that the manufacture is paying me, Floorit is holding it hostage until I take down the review. Is that Blackmail?

At first this wasn't a problem but then I had to get the estimate redone. Still no problem. But then came the time to put in part of the flooring and I've had non stop issues with them and the contractors pointing fingers and saying how they need to each do it. Came to the point that one contractor had to phone this place to figure out what is going on. This contractor was then told that the second part, the part I had to add on later, onto the estimat, was non existence. Also they never return calls, plus when someone else offers to help over the phone meh they can't do anything because you're not their client!! This place is a joke. Last time I deal with them. Let's hope we get to the finished result

He did an excellent job completing it with great care and with no damage to the freshly painted trim and walls and absolutely no mess left behind. What really stood out however, was how far he went beyond the scope of his work to answer questions we had about other carpet in our home as well as explained options for handling doorway trim. His professionalism, knowledge and willingness to help were truly appreciated.
