How well you get on at this store is, it seems, dependent on the day of the week you go ini.e.who…read moreis working! Although a nice sized store, layout is quite sporadic and on a bad day, when you need to find an item in a hurry, you can be chasing a memb er of staff around the store for ages as they do not seem to know where things are either! On the flip side, there are some great bargains to be had and some members of staff (not enough sadly) are very knowledgeable and helpful. Recently, self service tills have been introduced these would be a great bonus if it weren't for a couple of over zealous staff who insist on over seeing every move, thus making it slower to use these tills than the standard ones!

There is a great range available in store and any items that are not in stock will be ordered in swiftly. Staff are friendly and helpful and will willingly demonstrate items (I even had one make me some toast to try when I was debating getting a Dualit toaster!) All in all a great shop for buying and browsing !

This branch…read moreof Wyvale has an adequate selection of flowering plants, although sadly lacking in vegetable plants (my passion) and a decent selection of garden tools and furniture (though quite pricey when the competition is only 5 minutes away in the form of B and Q!). However, one of the enjoying factors for me when visiting a garden centre is to be able to sit down with my children and get a bite to eat and a drink while we are there.that way it keeps us all happy! Unfortunatelyunless you are in the cafe at the exact specified time it is impossible to get anything at all to eat! breakfast runs untill 11.30.... lunch from 12 .turn up between these times and request somthing to eat and you are looked at as though mad! On the ocassions i have eaten by getting there at the right time, the food has taken ages to be served and is often luke warm or stone cold! Come on Wyevale..with so much local competition it is time to buck up!
