Lousiest customer service I have ever experienced
One could think that a transfer of a warranty to a new home owner via email cannot be simpler. As it turns out, The Carpet Trade Centre seem to have no clue about their responsibilities as per the instructions on the manufacturer's warranty certificate, and, they exhibit the rudest customer non-service attitude. Here is a sample of their idea of excellent customer service:
My Request: (...)Hello
Please kindly transfer the warranty to me WEF today.
I am the new house owner for the below address (...)
To be clear - Karndean state the only contact for their warranty is The Carpet Trade Centre who fitted the flooring in the house I just bought.
(...) I must say Sylwia I find your emails to be exceptionally rude.
Your warranty is with Karndean and not ourselves, we guarantee the fitting of the product for 12 months. as previously stated we simply pass on the information to Karndean and they send out the warranties directly to you via email, I'm not sure why this is so difficult to understand. (...)
(...) Hopefully this can be sorted ASAP so we no longer have any future dealings with yourself. (...)
Should anyone require the entire email trail, I am more than happy to share it just so that no one thinks I have taken the above out of context.
