After a month of looking for quotes, I decided on Americarrpets purely on price. Quotes ranged from…read more1800-2500 and they used the exact same brand n quality carpet and the proper shaw underlay for 1000. Search was over! Had the carpet laid. Installers where polite, nice n quick. Cleaned up and did the install right. Only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is the communication could have been a little better but it easy Miami I guess. Lol. Highly recommended n definitely will use again if I'm in the need of carpet again

In fall of 2014, we purchased Mannington Adura LVT (Luxury vinyl tiles) from Juan Werner at…read moreAmericarpet in Miami. The flooring, approx. 1000 square feet, was for most of our condo, except our bedroom. We asked Juan to recommend an installer and he said Victor Santillana was "his best installer". Because of Juan's recommendation, we waited a few months for Victor to install the flooring, Dec. 2014. A few months later, in Feb, 2015, we noticed some tiles were lifting. We called Victor, who said the floor would "settle in". Not only did it not settle down, it got worse. Instead of just lifting in one area in the hall, areas of tile in our entire condo were lifting. Just before we left Florida in April for our Canadian home, we let both Victor AND Juan know there was a big problem. We then notified Mannington, who examined the floors during the summer. They said lifting tiles were "Due to improper installation". We tried to communicate with Victor about this issue, but he ignored us. We then reached out to Juan, who came back to our condo in March 2017, with another flooring installer. We also had independent installers examine the floor. They all said the same thing - The entire condo, 1000 sq. feet of tile, had to be replaced with new tiles. Victor had not only left little expansion space at some of the walls, but he had damaged the click & lock mechanism during installation. Juan tried to reach Victor, but got no response. We also tried for months to reach him, but he would not answer. At that point, Juan left us with no recourse to fix this floor. He offered NO resolution to this improperly, installed floor that HIS recommended installer had laid. And in fact, he asked us to sign a waiver saying he was no longer responsible! That is NOT how a reputable business should operate. Americarpet & Juan need to guarantee the work of THEIR recommended installers. And if it is not done right, they are responsible to fix it! We are now left with flooring, throughout our entire condo, that is lifting & unattractive. At some point, we will have to replace the whole thing at a cost of about $10,000! I would NEVER do business with Juan or Americarpet again, or recommend them to friends.

Jeffrey the owner / musician was very friendly and patient as my wife and I browsed his vast selection of choices. He had many very good recommendations and helped us design our own area rug. He's having samples sent to our home so we can decide on final color and pattern. The customer service alone is enough for me to give him my business. Even if we do not purchase from him we did have an enjoyable time with him at the shop. To be continued......

(Lowe's, Miami Dolphin and tile, Home Depot, carpet boutique, and 3 more sites I don't even remember anymore)... mind you not, not all of this were terrible, some were OK. Flow carpet was just a little harder to find! As it is a small store and not super advertised online, nevertheless I found it on Google maps and then digged for some reviews here! (As you can see, not many). Let me tell you, all of the 5 star reviews are 100% accurate! (Does it even have anything below 5?) Very charming shop, with lots of art and some musical instruments that directly reflect the attitude of the owner, Jeffrey, which helps you with a smile every step of the way! Explaining every bit for you without hesitation and the best part, NOT TRYING TO RIP YOU OFF LIKE MOST. The carpet I chose I saw it in other shops, and he immediately gave me lower prices than any other shop, because he is FAIR about his business. Clear, straightforward and broken down. Maybe that is why he has good reviews and has been there for 30 years! An honest businessman and a pleasure to do business with. The Job is not actually done yet, but all the negotiation process is, I will update with pictures as soon as the job is done! I promise, you can look no further! Go to flow carpet!
