If you're looking for a reliable, honest handyman, I can't recommend Dave highly enough. His…read moreresponse time is incredible--he's almost always able to get out the same day or next day, and I've never had to wait long for repairs. I've used him for plumbing repairs, remodel work, dishwasher repairs, and more. His pricing is very reasonable, and the quality of his workmanship is outstanding. In a world where inflation seems to affect everything, I honestly don't feel it when working with Dave. What I appreciate most is that he's attentive to what I want and need. He never tries to upsell me on anything and is always willing to answer questions or provide a quote, even when I'm just considering an idea for a future project. He's genuinely happy to help. Most importantly, Dave is someone I would trust to send to my elderly parents without a second thought. If you know me, you know how much I value making sure my parents are treated with honesty, respect, and kindness when I'm not around. That level of trust is not something I give lightly.Thank you, Dave, for always going above and beyond. Sorry it's taken me so long to write this review, but it's well deserved. You've been my first call three times now, and without a doubt you'll be hearing from me again in the future!- Leonakay!

The back story is we were looking at working with this contractor on a home we wanted to purchase…read more The home was not completed so we needed him to make a bid for the completion of the project and pull permits so that we could get a loan for the house. In order to purchase the home we needed a permit to build. In order to get a permit on the home we needed an engineer's sign off since the home was not permitted in the past. It was the contractor's responsibility to get an engineer to sign off on the building so that we could get a building permit and buy the property. After months of waiting the contractor failed to get an engineer to sign off on the home, we couldn't obtain a permit, so we lost the house/funding. We had already moved all of our stuff up to WA and this rendered us houseless. Furthermore, I spoke to the engineer and it appeared he had no plans to sign the house off as safe to live in. Since we are out of towners I feel like this contractor was attempting to bully us into a payment and then throw his hands up at the last minute and say that the home would never be approved to occupy by the county. During the bid process and permitting process Jason said many times that "he did not know how to do this" or was unsure on what the county/bank was asking. I think the project we were asking him to complete was simply too big for his experience level and he realized that towards the end and that is why it seemed to be clear that he was slowly pulling out of the project but wanted payment even though he knew that this project would not move forward. We agreed to pay a $2,500 deposit to the contractor when the building permit was obtained from the county. Now that we have no permit, no house, and no contract to build, this man is trying to force us into paying the deposit on our contract. I have told him I would pay for his time since it was a long investment, but he has failed to provide an itemized invoice of the time that he spent on putting things together. I have sent several emails to him trying to work with him on this but no response. I have moved to this area with my little family, and I am scared for my life due to the threats I have received from this contractor. He has told us that, "when people fuck us around, we have options." I am not sure what options this man is referring to but it does not make me feel comfortable or safe and above all it is poor business practices. This review is just meant to be cautionary. If you intend to use this contractor for anything other than a small project please be wary. He does not have the experience for it.

All Drywall Repair was recommended by my electrician to do the patching after a rewire on 6…read moreapartment units. ADR gave me an initial quote of $1325/unit for the patching. During the first unit they called and said the job is more like $1575. I get that they might not have gotten the full scope of the job from the photos they requested, so I agreed. The next unit was a one bedroom instead of a 2 bedroom, so there was a bit less work. Without even asking, they sent me a bill for $1875, so a smaller job at 20% more than we'd agreed on. Then they said that they wouldn't finish the job for less than $2100 per unit. So we're approaching double their initial estimate. They seemed to think that I would have to pay whatever they asked to keep the project on track, and that their estimates didn't matter. Of course, I sent them packing. I got another estimate that same day from a contractor who came highly recommended. This new guy was thorough, he went to the site, walked me through all the steps and timeline: $1400. Since the ceiling is already starting to peel in the first unit, I'm not sure which is shoddier, their work or their ethics.
